3-0 over the next 3?

if he plays, I target him 60-70 percent of the time....if not more.

Can't force balls to him could lead to trouble he's never played with Cassel. If Cassel suffers multiple turnovers against the Seahawks defense we're done. Just having Dez on the field should open things things up for our other receivers.

I don't think winning all 3 is very likely at this point. I do think we have to win 2 of the 3 or the season is over. If you assume that it will take 9-7 to win the division and that would involve winning by tie-breaker then the math is fairly simple. Lose all three and we would be sitting at 2-7 needing to sweep the remainder of the schedule to reach 9-7. winning one game leaves us a chance, somewhere between slim and none, but at least slim hasn't totally left town. 3-6 would allow us to go 6-1. Winning 2 gives me some hope we could go 5-4 and reach the 9-7 mark. Obviously the best option is to win all 3 and that would put us in pretty good shape at 5-4 with 7 to play. Yes I do know that with this division in the mess that it is in 8-8 might get you in but that just doesn't happen too often.

No it does not. And its going to be hard to get to 9 this season.

thats whay I think we should employ the "Chuck it deep to Dez" strategy.

it should. And I know your right. And I want them to try. But if we go into late 3rd quarter, 4th quarter down, and have been getting beat all day, and its doesnt seem to be happening.

Dez gives you that option. The chuck it up and pray startegy. Send Dez deep, and throw him the ball.

If Dez plays he'll have to work off some rust he didn't play at all in preseason due to an injury and the Cowboys playing it safe. He's only been on the field once this season in the opener so it may take some time to get him back in the groove especially playing with the new QB.

Plus some sugar water!

0 of 3 or 1 of 3 is most likely. 2 of 3 and thats freaking awesome. 3 of 3, well lets just say it would be a miracle, but miracles do happen from time to time.

If you throw one up to Dez it still has to be a throw he can make a play on. Because he and Cassel haven't played together Cassel can't get careless throwing balls up to him all day or it could lead to a number of picks. If he starts coming up short on those throws it could result in what we saw last week on one of his deep balls. Dez has to be given a chance on those jump balls you can't be coming up short with them or they'll be easy picks.

I don't see the Seahawks running away with this game unless the Cowboys give up and pack it in for the season. I would definitely take a shot deep to Dez but Cassel has to resist getting the heaves to Dez or he'll be picked off all day because Seattle's defense is very opportunistic.

Beating Seattle gives this team the confidence it needs to sweep through PHI and TB.

They need that first one and to get a chance to get one this weekend against the defending NFC champs would be a nice confidence booster that could lead to three in a row. Hell Im in why not.

I think our season's done, but I think we can beat Seattle. However, we'll probably lose to the eagirls the following week.

All three of these coming games are winnable with the talent we're suiting up right now. This week's is the most challenging one, though. SEA has lost four games (really, 5 games), but three of them were to the Bengals, the Panthers, and the Packers. That said, they also really lost that game to the woeful Lions. And they lost to the Rams. We're capable of beating them, and I like some of our matchups, but we're going to have to win the turnover battle. I don't like the prospect of that going up against this pass defense this week. Our front 7 are going to have to come through for us.

PHI and TB are both very beatable. If we get by SEA, I can easily see this team getting a bit of its swagger back against a bad PHI offensive team. From there, TB just isn't good, as WAS proved last week.

I wish these next three weeks were in reverse order. Or, better yet, I wish we'd beaten the Giants last week.

And I wish that Romo and Dez never got hurt.

Dallas will win this weekend. Despite what some people here think, it's not over. Which reminds me of...

D-Day: [to Bluto] Let it go. War's over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.
Bluto: What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter: [to Boon] Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...
[thinks hard of something to say]
Bluto: The tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!

Look I know we just need to win a damn game period. But IF Dez is finally back, and he is even at 80% I see no reason we can't win the next 3. It will still take a full effort from everyone but Cassel is fully capable of winning 3.

Seattle, Philly, and TB all have there own issues as well and 2 of 3 are at home.

That would put us at 5-4 when Romo returns and the QB controversy ensues! Lol

I'll be happy if we somehow squeeze out 2 of 3. We are not winning all three. The Giants game was my barometer and we did nothing in that game to instill the team confidence necessary to go on a run. It's very cliché but we need to be looking no further ahead than Seattle.

2 out of 3 would be great, 3 out of 3 would be amazing. I don't think it's realistic to expect the team with Romo to do better than 5-2 when he gets back. I think 10 wins is a lock to win the division, but 9 is possible. 3 of 3 would make 10 very possible, 2-3 probably gets us the division. My money is on 2 out of 3. If they beat Seattle, then my expectation will change to 3 out of 3. Honestly until I see them win a game, it's hard to picture them winning a game without Romo.

haven't won a single one yet without Romo. Tough to get a win in this league even with Romo.

I know it is hard to give up hope, but don't think the team has played a good game this year. Every week there is one area of the team that stinks up the game. As a team, they have not been able to play a complete game even before injuries became a problem.
