3-0 over the next 3?

I know it is hard to give up hope, but don't think the team has played a good game this year. Every week there is one area of the team that stinks up the game. As a team, they have not been able to play a complete game even before injuries became a problem.

Sort of reminds you of all those 8-8 seasons doesn't it? Organized chaos.

I just see this as, hell Campo went 5-11 three straight seasons. That's 5 wins with some of the worst QB play I've witnessed. This team, while it hasn't shown it can, can pull these 3 out to get us back in the race.

If they lose 7 in a row without Romo, and Dez is back I think JG should be canned as that will be utterly ridiculous!

Look I know we just need to win a damn game period. But IF Dez is finally back, and he is even at 80% I see no reason we can't win the next 3. It will still take a full effort from everyone but Cassel is fully capable of winning 3.

Seattle, Philly, and TB all have there own issues as well and 2 of 3 are at home.

That would put us at 5-4 when Romo returns and the QB controversy ensues! Lol

Yes. Lets do it! :)

I'm hoping the locker room can handle one more loss... getting awfully close to meltdown mode... if so, I think they can beat Philly again and Tampa.
The Seattle game I would classify as unlikely but a possible win... we need to steal a game with a late pick on D (anytime in the game would be nice).

You think it's close to meltdown mode because we've lost four in a row? Or are you seeing anything that indicates the players themselves are melting down?

I guess 3 in a row is possible.
How sweet would that be!
Okay, dream's over.

They have a legitimate shot to do it. They can definitely win on Sunday. The defense should be able to take advantage of the Seahawks O-Line. Dez will help Beasley and Williams. Excited to see 88. The Eagles don't scare anyone and neither do the Buccaneers. They can beat these teams but I just always worry about something stupid or ridiculous happening on Sunday. A blocked punt in the 4th Quarter that scores the winning touchdown, Or some horrible call by the refs that costs the Cowboys the game. But Dez is back and the defense is at full strength so I think they start a winning streak....Hopefully

My thought is the 4 losses in a row... hoping I'm wrong, but losing 5 or 6 straight just seems to wear an athlete out... all that hard work and such high expectations... as bad as we feel as fans, a true
athlete craves a win badly... yes, they get paid well but every player wants the glory... that prize at the end that says you're the best..... the season is nearly lost... not yet, but it looks a little bleak...
what a great story it would be if they battled back and won it all... either way, I'll be watching every week, every minute, every down, hoping they can pull together.

It sure looked like Hardy was having a meltdown to me. It looks like a team that is on the verge of pointing fingers at each other rather than fix the problems.

Until I see this team win a game without Romo/Dez I can't predict any wins for them. They must get going this week. It's gettin late early...

All three of these coming games are winnable with the talent we're suiting up right now. This week's is the most challenging one, though. SEA has lost four games (really, 5 games), but three of them were to the Bengals, the Panthers, and the Packers. That said, they also really lost that game to the woeful Lions. And they lost to the Rams. We're capable of beating them, and I like some of our matchups, but we're going to have to win the turnover battle. I don't like the prospect of that going up against this pass defense this week. Our front 7 are going to have to come through for us.

PHI and TB are both very beatable. If we get by SEA, I can easily see this team getting a bit of its swagger back against a bad PHI offensive team. From there, TB just isn't good, as WAS proved last week.

I wish these next three weeks were in reverse order. Or, better yet, I wish we'd beaten the Giants last week.

Win the turnover battle? This team hasn't had a takeaway since week 2...

I know. It's mostly why we're losing. But, other than the QB, I don't see a reason why we should assume we're not able to win that game within a game. Our defense gets pressure and tackles well, generally. The strip sacks and the strip fumbles should be coming. Picks are tougher when we're playing a lot of man coverage, but sooner or later that levy has to break.

Really? It didn't to me. He just looked frustrated that we had climbed back into the game and then gave up the easy touchdown immediately. And if you heard what he was yelling at the defensive line after he got separated, it was pretty positive stuff. Don't mistake emotion for being divisive.

Not hearing a peep out of the players in their media comments after any of these losses, either. They're still saying the right things and still talking about getting better themselves or within their position groups. Like I said in the other thread, it's not like what's gone on with the Eagles, for instance, where players are yelling 'catch the [expletive] football' at their WRs in the locker rooms. Or in SF where Staley and Vernon Davis are having altercations about the play of their QB. Yelling during the game to rile people up isn't the same category of issue.

Wow! It's worse than I thought. I'm as negative about this team as they come. I never liked JG, hate his offense, and hate the RB's and WR's, but let's not act like we are playing GB, NE, and Cinncy here. All 3 of these teams are beatable. Cassel is not awful, he just needs to play within himself.

All 3 are winnable but you know the cowboys tend to beat themselves a lot ??
Penaltys, turnovers, not getting turnovers, bad coaching, or game plans.
they really looked good last week but again beat themselves.

Seattle will be tough to beat, dez or no dez, and the next two are more suitable to win, but cowboys need to play like a team, and a motivated team
that knows what they are doing, and a desire to win.

It would be a shame if we don't make the playoffs because the NFC does not look good this year. Heck, you could argue the whole NFL outside of New England doesn't look that good. The NFC East is a joke. The NFC West has been very weak but Arizona could maybe be a dark horse. The NFC North has the Packers and that's about it. And I don't trust the NFC South despite having a lot of wins.
