He have not spent any high draft picks in the last 6 years pursuing those positions other than Julius Jones. And that has been a bust.
And once in 6 years is not enough.
The defensive backfield is totally overloaded with expensive draft picks and FA's eating up a significant amout of our cap. Tnew, Henry, RW and soon Hamlin..now another one..?
Nope. I don't think they are going to add anymore extremely high priced players there. Campo is going to take over and be the difference there along with a couple of later draft picks for good measure and crack the whip.
With Garrett as the new shinning offensive coordinator and the poster boy of our flashy offense..
..I have no doubt that we are going offense with both picks to help Garrett with the need for more firepower and more insurance against TG/TO injuries or more RB flameouts if MBIII can't do it stopping our playoff runs.
I think CB is a need, but I think they can pick up somebody with our later 2nd rd.pick if necesary for that need as a #3 CB or make the trade for PacMan or somebody else they might think they can trade for.
So I'm solidly looking to offense with both our picks and I hope that doesn't come as any shock.
