3-4 doesn't fit Dallas personnel

I can tell you right now outside of Ware, the Cowboys don't have one LB that would be considered better than the Steelers top 5 LBers.

and I started a thread yesterday that said EVERYONE has overrated these players and most people crucified me....and I too stated that I watch a lot of football and many people are seduced by these players "Pro Bowl" credentials. It seduces you into thinking you have a pemier player at a particluar position. The ONLY premier players we have our Ware, Romo, Witten and Owens. We won 13 games...so we got pro bowl votes. And yes there is enough talent to beat the Rams....but when EVERY team plays you like they are playing for a new contract...there is NOT enough talent to overcome that and the injuries we are suffering. We are not THAT good!

Every now and then I just want to by you a steak. A man who clearly gets it deserves a good steak.

Except for the fact that he referred to the 4-3 and 3-4 as "Schemes" when in fact they are not schemes, they're fronts. And you play a specific scheme within that front.

I know what he meant though and I agree with it. Just bugs me that people refer to a certain front as a "Scheme". Like, "Hey, dallas plays a 3-4 scheme". Ummm... no they don't. There's no such thing (technically) as a 3-4 "Scheme". A "Tampa 2" is a scheme. ANd it can be played in the 3-4 or the 4-3.


Yeah, I know, I'm arguing semantics. Just bugs me.

Correctomundo...4-5 players on this team...Romo, barber, ware, witten...maybe Crybaby Owens...I keep hoping Ronnie Lott will suit up and "Clock" Owens on one of his slants.
