What is with 3am? Has anybody else here awakened on the exact minute? I've done this occasionally the past year and I did it again this morning. Insomnia wouldn't be it because we are talking exactly 3am-not 2:55 or 3:05. I'm not exaggerating when I say its on the money at that exact time.

Did you awake at 4:00 am before daylight savings time went into effect?

Not exactly the same thing, but I consistently awake 1-2 minutes before my alarm goes off... Whether it's set for 5 am or 6:45 am. It's weird.

Uh, no. 3am on the button. I googled it and I'm not the only one.

REM cycle... Your body is switching REM cycles.

3Am is the witching hour. The time when paranormal activity reachs it's peak.

Boo!

I've always heard it's 5:00 PM somewhere but never heard anyone claim any significance about 3:00 AM.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that your alarm clock is set for 3 am.

:D

Forgive the political reference, but didn't Hillary warn us about 3 AM calls? :)

It's cold outside, you might need a raincoat.

Actually I tried my old, Air Force-issued cold weather gear and all it did was make me sweat.

You know you are right because I heard another cycle starts at 2am. But why 3am unless I am on a different REM plan.

I know you all joke about it but try waking up at 3am exactly three days in a row, then skip a few months then have it happen again. Its more eerie than anything. Then, I can't sleep until 630am at which time my body finally falls asleep and my alarm clock goes off at 7am. I wake up and my alarm clock does this eyebrow raising thing like its daring me to look at its time-I do then I see its 3:00AM Aarghhh...

your lucky. My body lets me sleep on average 1.5-2 hrs a night. no my names not Tyler Durden

The thing is I don't have problems necessarily sleeping. If I had bouts of insomnia, I'd wake up around that time but not exactly to the minute. Heck, I even read that it could be your liver. WTheck? lol
