(WR is one of our smallest needs, we have an way above average WR core and I hope we can get rid of Williams and have Crayton + Austin start next year, it will improve our team drastically)

Maybe.......

What if Spears and Hatcher leave in free agency?

then DE becomes a pressing concern, and I would rank it above OT since we still have Flozell for another year.

I want Roy out of here and wr still wouldn't be a concern. We're actually better with Hurd on the field and I don't want to lose him. We need to cut this guy loose so we can have room for real players. Rant off.

I'll say OL, DT, and K if Folk doesn't improve.

Are you serious?!?
Our WR CORPS is not good. RW is a lifelong underachiever and always will be. Sadly and I hate to say it but our offense would be tons better with TO instead of RW, although team chemistry may be worse. We missed hard by not taking the speedster Mike Wallace IMO. None of our WRs can get separation. Austin only does with comebacks. Austin is straight line speed. We need someone who can get in and out of cuts without losing speed a la Terry Glenn. Until RW starts catching the few balls that go his way when he finally gets open, he's a complete waste of a roster spot. Seriously, what D would fear him?
I have to say that our needs are clearly and specifically:
1) playmaker at WR (Dez Bryant)
2) LT (Anthony Davis or Marcus McNeil)
3) ILB (Rolando McClain)
4) NT to move Ratilff to DE (Terrence Cody)
5) CB (Joe Haden, Javier Arenas)
6) C/G

Our WR is deeply mediocre. We have a lot of the same players, RW, Hurd, and Crayton are all possession WRs. Austin is deep speed only. Ogletree is the most interesting prospect. If you're a defense, who of those scare you?
If we get a NT like Cody then Ratliff slides over and we still have Bowen as backup. Spears and Hatcher can probably walk.
At ILB we're thin, Brooking is older and we might be an injury away from serious problems. Be nice to get someone like McClain to groom.
Safety isn't that big of an issue to me. Ken Hamlin isn't making a ton of plays but he's not giving them up either. As a side note, we totally whiffed by not picking up either Darren Sharper or Dawkins. Sensabaugh should be resigned immediately. We also have Mike Hamlin and we're not sure how good he's going to be but I have a feeling he might be good. Ball did a decent job too. Sure, if someone like Berry or Earl Thomas fell to us it would be a big upgrade but we're okay if we have to stand pat.
CB is more concerning to me. TNew is old and not playing well. Jenkins is great, Scandrick is okay, but then who? You always need three starting caliber corners. If we got someone like Joe Haden or Javier Arenas in the draft, it would be helpful, esp Arenas who'd instantly upgrade our return game.

No, we desperately need another WR.

But I'd rank LT first, because Flozell is teetering on the edge of the abyss. We can't wait any longer on LT.

a Real GM, better scouting, and someone to make the calls on when to use more picks for less but more talented players.

Offensive line, offensive line, offensive line, i dont care what you think of your QB, he does you no good under a pile.

anything on defense, you cant move enough CB's or anything on defense through your team. You cant have enough sack artists, high motor guys, complete linebackers on your team. draft them draft them draft them.

A complete WR who can get seperation and get open enough for the QB to find him.

1. GM
2. HC
3. OC

Do this, and get the right HC and OC with this team and we have the talent to get to a super bowl.

Tackle - Flozell Adams needs to be replaced NOW. The wheels are off and rolling down the street. The Cowboys are pushing their luck at LT. RT is hardly anything secure either. Doug Free is still a question mark, Columbo may not be the same player and nobody else is worth talking about.

Guard/Center - 30 year old starters here and mediocre to bad backups. No brainer.

Cornerback - If Sensabaugh is retained we're fine. I don't like Ken Hamlin, but he's not awful. There just aren't many game changing safeties in the NFL. On the corner front, Terence Newman's older and we could use more depth.

1. LT - There is no more pressing concern. Flo is clearly nearing the end so we've got to get the future there to protect Romos blind side.

2. FS - We badly need a ball hawk at the FS position.

3. Line depth - Offensive and defensive sides of the ball both.

The ridiculous notion of sliding the best defensive tackle in the NFL to DE is just that - ridiculous. Yes, I firmly believe Ratliff is the best at what he does.

you want your Oline around 30 to 34 or 35 depending on their health. Offensive line is rough and takes years to get down. So thats not a concern, for me right now.

Such unquestioned and strength of statements:

Our WR CORPS is not good. RW is a lifelong underachiever and always will be.

Care to reconsider here?

The offensive line is the most sophisticated and time dependent position in Pro Football, not throwing a ball. Although much of the NFL is dependent upon mobility, in that position, strength and leverages continue to function at an older age that directly around the ball. I'm not overly concerned with the present age of Dallas. Two years down the road that would be much more pressing...change and direction is always the variable of function.

Our WR corps is hardly "way above average."

Then you ARE then saying, that Jason Witten, Marselus Bennett, Miles Austin, Patrick Crayton, Roy Williams, Sam Hurd, and Ogletree are NOT a very good collection?
