3 Cowboys eligible for 2026 HOF class, plus 1 who keeps getting snubbed

Funny how Darren Woodson career don't seem much different than HOF John Lynch - and Woodson could play man to man SLOT coverage, something
Lynch could not do ...

5 pro bowls is not the same as 9 pro bowls

What all of you are missing here is that HOF safeties need to put up the numbers. You don't see that enough with Woody. I love the player but he didn't do enough.

Woody was elite for five seasons at best. That's not a HoF career.

You're exactly right! Unfortunately, there's a bias against Dallas players and for the life of me I cannot bear to watch the HOF as long as they continue to overlook Darren Woodson!!
Oh shut up. Witten is first ballot.

Dez and Lee were great players but clearly did not have HoF careers.

Stop playing the victim card and being such a homer.

You know they won't elect two Cowboys in the same year. For that reason alone, I hope Witten is a second ballot HOFer (even though he is first ballot worthy) if it means getting Woodson in.

Truth is not a victim card. You have your opinion, and I have mine, Woodson should have been there years ago!

Sorry dont agree, Dallas is well represented in the Hall. To me there does not seem to be any type of hold back. Woodson may make it but he was a safety, not many safeties make it at all.
Drew Pearson and Jimmy Johnson were questionable.
Heck I was surprised when Mel Renfro and Rayfield Wright got in after so many years after retirement when their names weren't even being mentioned.

Witten is a shoe-in. Dez and Lee will never make it.
Woodson still might
Don't you know how to play victim like some of the rest? Lol.

The dude is wrong when he says the NFL isn’t stats driven. Skill position players get in the Hall of Fame due to their numbers except for a few QBs that won multiple Super Bowls including Troy Aikman. There’s no debate about Jason Witten getting in the Hall of Fame. He’s a first ballot lock.
Troy didn't get in because he started in three Super Bowls.

Troy got in because he played phenomenally in those three Super Bowls.

Anyone who thinks Troy didn't have impressive stats were looking in the wrong place.

Starting in three Super Bowls didn’t get him in the Hall of Fame, it was winning three Super Bowls that did. He played great in those games, but it was the wins that got him in Canton. He even admitted that.

Witten deserves to be in and will get in eventually. I don’t think he will be first ballot. But he will get in eventually. First ballot guys are in a special category. No knock on Witten. He will get in though.

Darren Woodson is long overdue. Should have been in long ago.

Troy killed it in his first sb vs Buffalo.
He was awful the second coming vs Buffalo
He didn’t kill it vs Pitt.
Sooooooooo?

Keep that in mind the next time you say "victim card."

Woody is not a HoF player - ring of honor, yeah, HoF. He didn't sustain the performances for long enough.

You have your opinion. But you have no factual support for it. That sort of means your opinion is worthless.
