He played at HOF level. Problem was availability. He was a good, but not great player. Nowhere near HoF level play.

Harvey Martin, Darren Woodson, and Jason Witten in that order. Bob Bruenig, and Everson Wals in the Ring of Honor.3 Cowboys eligible for 2026 HOF class, plus 1 who keeps getting snubbed

The Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in recent memory.
The spotlight in Dallas is shining on three beloved former Cowboys who are also first-time eligible: TE Jason Witten, WR Dez Bryant, and LB Sean Lee.
Each played pivotal roles during their tenure with the team, and now, Cowboys fans are hoping the Hall of Fame selection committee gives them their due.

Woodson had three great seasons and then was average.Witten and Woodson are the only two deserving of enshrinement..
The dude is wrong when he says the NFL isn’t stats driven. Skill position players get in the Hall of Fame due to their numbers except for a few QBs that won multiple Super Bowls including Troy Aikman. There’s no debate about Jason Witten getting in the Hall of Fame. He’s a first ballot lock.
33 people do the selecting.it needs to happen.
☆WALLS
☆WITTEN
☆WOODSON
c'mon canton...show some guts.
JWit is a 1st ballot HOFer all day.Woodson is the only one deserving of HOF
Woodson had three great seasons and then was average.

He played 12 seasons. more than half of the intercepts come from that outstanding three-year period. Those last two probowls were on reputation.Cowboys All time leading tackler

Could play anywhere.. free safety, strong safety, line up in man coverage, linebacker, special teams demon
I don't know who you watching
i wouldn't .. look at how long it took TE Antonio Gates to get in ,.. and he had far more TDs than WItten ..Ill be shocked if Witten isnt a 1st ballot

Are you sure you are not confusing him with Rod Woodson? He played only five seasons at safety. He collected 25 ints, 5 TDs in just that five-year span.
What's keeping Everson Walls and Harbe Martin outtta the Hall of Fame ..??It's past time for Woody to get in!! The fact that he isn't already in the HOF is a disgrace!!

They should both be in, but Witten has a stronger case than Woodson and is probably first ballot.Woodson is the only one deserving of HOF
Yep and I don't think he should be in, but there's no doubt for 3 seasons he was the superstar that team ran through...Terrell Davis played 78 career games and got in easy.
Sorry dont agree, Dallas is well represented in the Hall. To me there does not seem to be any type of hold back. Woodson may make it but he was a safety, not many safeties make it at all.None of them will get in. They all played for Dallas.
You're exactly right! Unfortunately, there's a bias against Dallas players and for the life of me I cannot bear to watch the HOF as long as they continue to overlook Darren Woodson!!None of them will get in. They all played for Dallas.
