Trade for Siaka of the Browns before we play them so we can break over 60 rushing yards .

That's a strategy you can believe in.

Thoughts and prayers.....

3 defensive tackles Cowboys should inquire about trading for https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/202...ndidates-tj-slaton-phidarian-mathis-siaki-ika

Wouldn't hurt, who would you want. Surely wouldn't be the Browns guy unless he's but before the start of the season. I can't see them giving us him before we play them maybe after
all 3 should be trade options for a 4th round Pick that based on playing time can become a 3rd. we get a starting caliber NT so we can rotate current guys and does not cost much.

Extend Dak, and it would clear a lot of cap instantly, making dreams of upgrades at DT and RB possible.
Why so we can hear more of we're all in, we will be active, free agency is 24/7 , and not do anything???

Cowboys have a lot of picks next year. No reason to stop them from making a move if they want to.

Still not really upset with anyone that left.
Just with the nothing they did to replace them.

OK, we drafted a tackle and center, so there's that. And we brought in two old, slow RBs to replace Pollard, and an old, slow LB to replace LVE. I hope it all works out, that we hit on some players that can step in and do the job better than what we had last year, but with how many we need to hit on, it might be too much to ask.

First two are interesting. Slaton isnt a world beater, but he is a good fall back if Mazi doesn't improve. He is an adequate run stopping 1T. Mathis is very talented, but has had some injury issues in the NFL

If you didn't like Mazi's production, you definitely wont like Ika's.1 tackle in 100 snaps

I understand the concerns, but paying a RB $10M just to have an extra 200 yards does not seem worth it to me. I love the committee approach, just wish we had drafted a young RB.

I was never a huge fan of LVE. Seemed like a majority of his tackles were 5+ yards down the field.

DT is the biggest concern. LB's alone is not going to fix our run D. Need to trade some of those conditional 5th round picks.

I have been waiting for anyone to explain which loss hurt this roster.

We had an undersized center that was never going to get any stronger and was constantly moving backwards.

Hankins was living off his name value alone, decent DT but loosing Hankins now churns the DT room.

Armstrong and Fowler where never going to fit Zims scheme, so bye bye, and now we churn even more.

The depth of this roster has to step up into some starting roles, and the depth is wide open for review, I like the way this roster is being built.

Get rid of names and players that you know have already hit their ceilings, and if that ceiling isn't good enough than it is time to say adios amigos.

Don't overlook draft pick DT Justin Rogers out of Auburn, 6'2" 338 lb 1T.
