3 Free Agents Cowboys Must Sign After Micah Parsons & DeMarcus Lawrence Injuries

Dallas Cowboys fans held their collective breaths on Thursday night as they saw star pass rusher Micah Parsons carted off the field after suffering a leg injury. It was the worst-case scenario for Dallas as they also saw DeMarcus Lawrence go down with a foot injury.

But the Cowboys’ depth isn’t great on the defensive line, so they’ll need to consider bringing in a veteran pass rusher. The bad news about that particular option is there isn’t much talent on the open market.

That said, the Cowboys don’t need anything special. They need a defensive end who can get after the quarterback, and we’ve found three veterans who can do that.

1. Shaq Lawson
2. Myjai Sanders
3. Al-Quadin Muhammad

Doesn't Muhammed have a 1 game suspension he must do first. So he does no good for them as they need immediate help.

Yes there is. Just a matter of how much you want to pay but teams will be willing to trade by the deadline as some will be out of it by week 9.

I'm thinking they are just going to sign "stop gap" players because both players should be back within a month or so because the reports are saying " out for multiple weeks"

If they are truly going to give up equity in a trade they'd be better off getting a real DT and or LB for the long haul

I questioned why Muhammad was let go after pre season in another post . He could have served the suspension during the Cleveland game and been done with it .

I brought up Reddick in another post . Suggested the FO do an inquiry as to what it would cost in trade with the Jets and what would it take to sign . Obviously Reddick at 29 would be a multi season pick up .

i thought we already had Mohammed? oh wait that's the guy who got suspended the first game, so we didn't bring him back..

i'll take one of those they're not going to sign three guys..

so Shaq would be nice if Zim can convince Jerry to go get him.. although 2 Lawsons as bookends could confuse fans watching and what not LOL.

If i was a DC id move Overshown immediately to DE/OLB in the parson's role, figure out off the ball LB later. Hès cut form the same cloth IMHO..

yeah, that would be the report that the jets, eagles and the rest of the league is saying. Not a jerry thing

apparently, HR wants too much..sesm like forcing a trade asking for another is truing off teams... i mean show me all this interest in Reddick??

Overshown will not hold up at 230 pounds at DE.

Maybe only on obvious pass plays.

the problem with taking someone off another's Psquad is you can't put him back down on your PS have to keep them and Believe guarantee their salary? not f100% but i think that why teams dont do it too often,

I don't think it is guaranteed. But you do have to keep them on the active roster for 4 weeks minimum.
