not the 3rd that matter the 25-30mil per year is the holdout..ie holdup. If team though he was worth it they woold have signed him already, maybe on his 3rd team soon if he continues to over value himself. ..
He was really good with the Cards and Eagles, but I'm curious why the egals were so quick to pay someone else. I'd sign him to 3 years if I was Dallas. Lawrence comes off the books next year.

Haven't heard anything about us even fishing yet? I hope these bozos aren't waiting to see how everyone does vs Pitts before they get off their behinds. We need bodies at this point.
Sadly, our "genius" front office has always been reactionary after the fact and NEVER proactive.

Reports are Reddick is too costly but would the jones even inquire. Highly doubt it cause they didn't with Henry
Henry is a different case. They don't get involved with FA early on. But Reddick would be too costly for them. He wants something like 25M a year or more.

I brought up Reddick in another post . Suggested the FO do an inquiry as to what it would cost in trade with the Jets and what would it take to sign . Obviously Reddick at 29 would be a multi season pick up .
Here's the red flag I now see with Reddick. He hasn't even shown up yet. Apparently he's willing to lose 14 million this year. Why do you think that is? He's either worried about injury, or not living up to expectations. If it's the latter, some team is going to get robbed. I think he just want to get paid before any new tape is out on him.

Does Hassan Reddick fit Zims system? Like is he Zims prototypical defensive end? We don't need more ends that can't stop the run.

The Giants should have a fire sale. Offer them our 1, 3, and 5 for Thibodeaux and D Lawrence lol.

Yes it’s quite a holdout does raise red flags

Wonder what the cap hit would be if we were to move on from Tank after this season? If manageable, I’d see about bringing Reddik in now as his replacement.

That's all though I'm glad that your Internet fake GM skills says you should pay him but somehow the eagles decided to get rid of them that's a red flag to me then The Jets get him and decide they don't wanna pay him so I don't know what's going on behind the scenes but if you think he's that good why is he sitting holding out and two teams have rejected his contract offers that's the only reason he left the eagles he was demanding money they didn't think he was worth.. Did you get that right it took what 1/3 or 1/4 rounder right now to get him from The Jets why hasn't another team just seen this amazing player who maybe they think it's a lot like Robert Quinn maybe... You remember him right everyone said he saw all he is is good for hollow sacks he came through here at 13 sacks everyone downplayed it I actually would have kept the guy but he didn't do anything but go sell out for sacks.. I mean gotta wonder how Robert Quinn went around the league and never stuck with a team much there's gotta be a red flag somewhere I'm telling you why is this guy not getting the money he's asking for if he's so good I mean right now he asked for another trade so that would be two trades by two teams and him not even play a snap yet this year but if he's up for grabs why does another team not go get him if he's so special I wanna know what you know that we don't know that they know because they know more than what we know does that not make sense?

Someone must have tagged this dude as a locker room cancer and they're shutting him out or what do you call it a conspiracy to collude and not sign him because they can't have guys getting traded and then refuse to play until they get another contract and then demand another trade he's about to be blackballed harder than le'veon bell.

Reason why trades from eagles 2 reasons, 1st they changed defense and wanted him to play linebacker, he is a defensive end period. Next, he demanded more money so eagles traded him, the jets agreed to restructure his contract but they didn't follow thru, backed off. When he plays defensive end he is a force. Main reason why I'm saying get Riddick is think about pairing Parsons at one defensive end and Riddick at the other position, now you have a pass rush, and Jordan Phillips should be about ready to play. Then you have a dominant defense and remember debland should be back after bye week
As far as draft pick, been said you can get Riddick for a 5th rounder, get the jets to eat up about 5 million of his 14 million contract and you have a serviceable trade

At this point Reddick and the Jets just may want to move on from each other.
The Jets gave up a 2026 3rd, that could have become a 2nd. I'd offer up a 2025 4th and a 2026 5th.
Tell Hassen here's only here for this year, just to get him on the field so he can prove he's worth signing for someone, maybe even us.
