3 WR set

This basically matches 2009's statistics, which saw 2+ TE packages get about 55% of snaps, 3+WR packages get about 32% of snaps, and the 21 package get about 11% of snaps.

Hard to see any less of the 21 package.

I think we close the gap between 2TE and 3WR sets just a bit. Perhaps we'll still run the 2TE set as our "base", but we'll see variations of the 3WR sets using our stud WRs to create mismatches.

Barber playing fullback is not going to happen. They might stick both Felix and MB3 in there to create a guessing game and mismatch, but he's not and never will play in a traditional fullback role.

I don't think he meant it literally.

the second they try to play MBIII at FB is the second MBIII needs to ask for a trade.

We've been here quite a bit in the past...and to win through the 'black 'n blue' December through the playoffs, a team must also be able to run the ball. You run the ball much stronger with the double tight end formation. The blend is a factor also, as the team has attempted to take the percentages up to the 50% area in pass to run. Of course with Dallas, the passing will dominate somewhat, due to the terrific completion percentage by Tony Romo.

That stated, I like the concept of keep a defense on it's heels in thought, and wearing them out trying to catch up to a conintual barrage of shifts to that same 3-receiver sets. That will catchup to the secondary and provide a tendency towards late game 'homeruns' and huge plays by Felix as well. Then let Marion pound it out in the double tight end for closure. You still have two receivers rotating and Witten/Bennett to contend with.

With the backs we have, we need to run the wishbone a bit. :p:
