Just wondering if anyone is like me, I was flipping thru the channels last night and saw a reply coming up, Dallas/Giant playoff game, immediately I get that sick feeling, boom instantly!!! A month later and it still lingers. I couldnt wait for the Super Bowl to come to an end, get the season done and over with, figuring that with football over, it will get that empty feeling gone. Oh well, maybe not. Its just wild that this playoff lost haunts me like the loss to the 49ers, you know the game!!!

Just waiting for the draft!

What is sick is the sheer number of opportunities we had to win that game.

I saw that on my DTV channel guide and just kept going. I've avoided the NFL Network and ESPN like the plague. Denial can be a beautiful thing.

Not speaking for everyone, but I'll have a hard time getting over it until we stop finding new and improved ways to lose a playoff game.

I didn't watch Sportscenter for three weeks. I usually start my day by turning on the Telly and having a cup of Joe while watching ESPN. It isn't getting any better with all of the Ely love.

Maybe I am wrong but I am not sold on Ely - I would take Romo over him six days a week and twice on Sunday. It will be interesting to look back and see just how this whole thing turns out with regards to career success.

I can't wait until the draft, and then training camp........I miss football season in a big way. This year more so than usual.

In some ways it would have been easier if we had lost by 10 or 20 pts. To lose the way we did made it all the worse.

Hardly anger; disappointment, frustration, disillusionment that I had higher expectations. Hey, I'm not being critical, I actually envy people that can let it go and move on.

I recorded a Montell Williams show for my wife over the Cowboys/Giants playoff game tape. I have absolutely ZERO desire to ever see that game again.

I have watched, and actually own, replays of the Ice Bowl...the Super Bowls vs the Steelers...etc.

I put the replay of this game on...and changed the channel within five minutes..and I don't think it has anything to do with recency.

This loss, will always be a source of disgust.

Ok, this might surprise some, but I am totally over it.

I am sure many of you here did as well (and probably still do), but I've been playing sports ever since I can remember. One thing I have learned is that you need to have a short memory or things could turn ugly very quickly.

I am not satisfied with just getting into the playoffs, but boy does it beat the 5-11 seasons or what? I am a person who is reasonable and I see the progress.

I still have nightmares about the ball hitting Jackie Smith in the hands/chest and falling to the ground.

I'm not sure how old the original poster is but he might be refering to the '94 NFC Championship game that we gave away in the first 5 minutes.:bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2

Can you imagine back to back to back to back Super Bowl wins. Easily crowned the greatest team ever.

Yeah... we have driven our own share of daggers through other teams heart in our franchises history.

We have our own "catch" against San Fran - Alvin Harper
We drove a few daggers through the Packers franchise.

just to name a few
