I'm starting to wonder if more than half this roster would have to be put on suicide watch if something truly horrible, and actually worthy of this kind of reaction, happened in their lives.

A month later and people are still getting sick over a loss from a football team? What happens to some of these people when someone they love dies?

It's a football game people, not a matter of life or death.

I'm not sure how old the original poster is but he might be refering to the '94 NFC Championship game that we gave away in the first 5 minutes.


Unfortunately I am old enough to go all the back to "the catch"!!!

relax dude, know kidding its only football, I am not comparing it to the struggles of everyday life....Just making a point that in seeing it listed on the TV Guide, I got that sick feeling, that the game still brings that feeling of disgust!! Have a nice day!!

Well let's see. My mother passed away from MS at the age of 62 (1 yr. ago this month) My 11 year old son was born with 1 arm and my wife and I just recently adopted a 5 year old whose mother is a meth addict and in prison and I'm sick to death about it! Could't sleep or eat ( But it didn't seem to effect my drinkin'.)

Yes, it still haunts me.......I have been going to church extra and it only helps when I am there......soon as I hit the parking lot....it hurts again.
