This reminds me some of the 90s. Aikman never had to put up gaudy numbers. Irvin didn't have to score a ton of TDs. We controlled the game with defense and possession.

Blew the Fade to Ferguson and had that near bad pick but that was all. I thought he was a little high on his throws too often but no turnovers is more important.

And the sack on 2nd and goal from the 6 that made it 3rd and 13 instead of just air mailing it out of the back of the end zone. But Dak was real good today

The problems start when defenses take away the short game or start picking them off for easy Pick 6s.

That’s the design of the offense. However, as the season goes on, we’re probably going to have to take more shots down the field. Would like to see us go a little more vertical at times but no INT’s after the first two games.

Totally agree I said all off-season the best news for this team was simplifying the offense, the reads and the patterns. There was way to much confusion and too many poor decisions. Just step and throw. And all this helps with ball security as well. I’m a happy guy so far this year with the offense. Obviously the defense is the strength of the team but you need both to win the big games. what’s not to be ecstatic about so far
