If Dak plays like this every game, I actually am not sure if there is a team that will be capable of beating Dallas when the defense shows up.

Prescot wasn't conservative, MM was with his bend but don't break offensive calls. Once he realized that his defense was going to have their way with the JET's offense he knew he could rack up 3 points at a time and run the clock out at the same time.

I actually find it very refreshing that our coach is making decisions strategically based upon the players we've got. This is the formula for this team to win.

My issues haven't been with the TEAM, it's been with Prescot and his ability to throw a pick 6 at any time during a game. After the JET's TD on the very next possession Prescot got away with a BAD pass that should have been intercepted and returned for a pick 6, but by the grace of GOD, the CB blew the play. It's because of plays like that one MM is going to keep a tight rein on his QB and if field goals will get the job done then we can expect a lot of those this year with his conservative play calling and I'm good with that if they result in W's.

They're desperate and looking for every angle to cover his limitations esp for the money he is being paid.

Mahomes and Prescot are night and day. Mahomes is a proven winner of the big games, whereas Prescot can't seem to crash the party. MM isn't going to allow Prescot the free rein he had with Moore because he can't be trusted to make good decisions with the football and this was obvious when the JETs scored their only TD and almost followed that up with an interception that would have resulted in a pick 6 on the Cowboy's next possession, but the JET's CD dropped the ball. When Prescot makes throws like that one it only makes MM's conservative decisions look brilliant.

Our best speed option was out and they clearly did the same thing this week they did last week - prioritize getting the ball out fast.

Yup. Next game against the Cardinals defense should dictate a totally different game plan and lower level of risk.

Totally agree I said all off-season the best news for this team was simplifying the offense, the reads and the patterns. There was way to much confusion and too many poor decisions. Just step and throw. And all this helps with ball security as well. I’m a happy guy so far this year with the offense. Obviously the defense is the strength of the team but you need both to win the big games. what’s not to be ecstatic about so far
