I was a big fan of the AFL...
Hated every NFL team back then other than the Cowboys.
But in the AFL, I used to love the Hank Stram Chiefs. That was a great team.
The Lance Alworth Chargers were another team I liked very much.
Being from NY, it was hard to not like Joe Namath and the Jets.
With the exception of the Cowboys, the NFL was boring in terms of offensive philosophy.
Not the AFL though. Wide open games. Great team names. Even better uniforms.
