329 yards.
That's how many yards a single receiver had against Dallas today. Site any specific play/playcall as the problem if you like, but when the opposing team has a receiver with 329 yards there is a much bigger problem. In the 3rd q he had more yards than the entire Dallas offense had achieved. (not sure if it ended that way)
Without CJ, that team is kind of a joke and would have never been in position to win that way. Gotta give it up to him- he's a freak.

And yet we were still up 10 points late in the fourth (twice), Dick Stockton had already given us the game and we still found a way to lose.

If we had won, I wouldn't even care about the yards. He can have his records and stats. We blew another game today. What is it, three of our losses by a total of 5 points or something like that? I'm tired of it.

Garrett coaches to take games down to the wire. Hence 50-50

I'm saying it's the reason we lost. Good teams don't get beat by a single player. We just did.

Carr played like poop, that kind of helped him look like more of a freak, too.

Carr is awesome, but was plain outmatched- like a child covering a man. I don't how you defend a guy like that.

You double him and play physical. All these other teams playing Detroit aren't letting up 300 yards to him, so clearly he's able to be contained.

Our defense just sucks.

I really don't know right now. I want to say scheme, but maybe we overvalued alot of our players, as well.

A lot of d-line injuries- can't predict/prevent that.
I do think this team needs some real talent at safety. Has for a looong time.

Well playing with our backup safeties didn't help today, but Carr needs to play better, plain and simple. He played really well the past two weeks and then against a top player, when we really needed him, he shriveled up. He wasn't physical with CJ at all. He played soft all day.

Players or scheme?

Scheme and safeties. Carr is not the best CB on the planet but he is pretty far from the worst. For all his talent, Johnson's best game this year prior to today was 155 yards - half of what he had today - and 3 times this year he was held under 50 yards. Someone figured out how to scheme for him, we didn't come close.

And what little help the coaches gave to Carr was undone by some utterly horrible safety play today. I don't blame Carr at all, he was given limited help against one of the most talented WRs ever and the help that he did get was completely incompetent.

You should rewatch the game then..

Carr stunk. Scandy choked on the last drive. Mo got hurt again cementing his bust status.

Fine, he can have some blame too. I just think he was put in a position to fail, and for the love of all that is holy if we can't find some NFL caliber safeties again some time in my lifetime I am going to explode.
