Bland has a great game. But let's not forget he was toasted multiple times at GB which caused us the game.

That's part of the learning process of a rookie....'member when Diggs was getting toasted frequently and apparently learned from it. Let's hope he is getting better and developing more confidence in his game.

you lost track already...umm bland took Lewis' spot , KJ is taking Browns outside duty's,, blands the slot /nickel corner etc.. not overly concerned there but KJ i am bit concerned having two youngsters out there.KJ is taking Browns spot, that could be an issue 2 young players on the back end.
ummm...no. Right now it's Diggs, Bland and Brown on the field. Going forward if we lose Brown it's Diggs, Bland and Joseph. Hard to imagine you couldn't follow that. I'm not sure it could be any simpler

Pretty sure we will be looking at r2/r3 CBs again.
Not sure they love this groups depth given they seem to sub in more safeties whenever possible and hide the CBs.

BROWNS OUT most likely the season , you are living under a rock. Bland is the SLOT guy that was lewis spot. Keep up man.. so IM correct last night what you saw is what will happen against Texans barring a major move by DQ deciding to go another route.

Bland looked good in TC, and he continues that in regular season.
We got a good one here.
True , but growing pains will be there , AR targeted him in GB game once Brown left with concussion and has success.

Bland is 6 foot with 35 inch arms. It’s no wonder he seems to have reach that QBs are not anticipating. Not terribly slow either with 4.4 speed.

Feel bad for Brown but this will certainly take away those deep verticals once he goes through a bit of rookie adjustments by the time playoffs are here.

what a great night for Bland!

McClay played DB at Rice. Name me a DB he drafted that is not played to their draft grade. Even Michael Jackson is in Seattle starting.

The man knows DBs.

Thats was GB, weeks ago,, Bland is being fast tracked, and its a pleasure to watch youth making serious strides.
Every week we get to watch Bland, Sam, and Clark evolving and getting better.
How long has it been since we have seen that take place.
JJ era, that was when.

I do not see Bland as a liability, but KJ on the other hand...

The man tackled the punt returner before the ball arrived. He just seems to be a bonehead.

NFL offenses are going to work him like a Salvation Army bell outside of a Walmart.

Bland has had success in the slot...why move him outside? Luckily Quinn is smart enough not to mess with success. Bland will stay where he's at and Joseph will man the outside. And to those saying we can't rely on Joseph, he will prove y'all wrong. Y'all are judging him by what he does when he comes in cold off the bench. But when he has a chance to really get in the game, and get his blood flowing, he's shined.

Are those two 2020 drafted corners ever going to contribute? We gave up 2 value (2nd and 3rd) picks and they have yet to make any significant contribution.

Again, who said anything about which CB spot they are playing. Brown out Joseph in. Do you need it on a chalk board?

Not talking about next years draft, just talking about what is on hand now and how we address Browns absence.
Does Wright get called up?
Yes, Wright does get called up.

Bland and Joseph can both play outside or slot. I’d keep the rookie where he is and just don’t hang Joseph on an island too often.

Why does Bland remind me so much of a young Everson Walls.
