He has better instincts and understanding of the game than Kelvin Joesph so far.

I still support Joseph. His coverage, even though he was scored on, wasn't bad.

But I agree with you that Bland is a little more ready to fill-in for Brown than Joseph.

I would like to see Joseph play the slot. He tackles well, and I think that's a better spot for him, at this point.

We'll see.

Brown got so much undeserved hate., I'm hoping we work it out, because he was a pretty solid player.

McClay played DB at Rice. Name me a DB he drafted that is not played to their draft grade. Even Michael Jackson is in Seattle starting.

The man knows DBs.

The man knows scouting at every position.

I've never seen anyone better.

Is he perfect? Nah.. But who is?

Again, who said anything about which CB spot they are playing. Brown out Joseph in. Do you need it on a chalk board?
Umm, thanks for making my point go read all the post replies and get back to me when the lights come on..It matter when ones obviously better at Slot and the others a questionable at bet to be a fulltime outside CB..

so replacing KJ is priority 1 , bland wont move outside, hes best inside as Lewis war. Brown was not slot for the same reason.. its called positions that best suit players skillset.

Maybe Shefields the answer, maybe another vert at home can fill in but leave Bland inside go finds an OCB, FAST!

even bland will be tested often and early but KJ out there with him the qbs coming up on our schedule are already circling those changes we've had at CB of late.. most here seemed to underrate lewis and Brown but they are now the weak links on this team and will be tested.

only thing this year that makes this bit easier to top handle that backend being weakened is our pass rush not giving a qb much time to throw.
