I think you're likely to see the defensive technique penalties go down in the regular season, especially as guys like Mitchel will likely not be getting that many snaps. The penalties that always bug me are the presnap ones, like illegal shifts/illegal formation/false starts. As far as that goes we weren't great but it wasn't terrible either. Holding on offense is always going to be a very spiky penalty, as its a discretionary call that the same ref can see the same thing two times and make the call on one and not the other and its completely defensible. For the oline the two on Smith are a little worrisome, but he's never had an issue with holding before so I'll cut him some slack.
