For some strange reason, 3rd rd picks have more flexibility in their contracts than all the other round picks. Weird.

High enough to be worth something, low enough not to get the really big bucks. But I'm sure he's thrilled to get it..

The Cowboys (and NFL?) don’t sign documents digitally these days? Last two offers I put in for a house were digital. At work, we went to all digital signatures probably 5 years ago or so.

Looking forward to seeing him play. He gave a lot of credit to family. Seems like a good person.

I think it is just the formality thing. Sign in person, because it is a big day in the life of these young men coming out of college. Played and worked at the sport their entires lives to that point.

I do every thing electronically also. Or print, scan, sign, e-mail back in. But even now, I do not print it. I download the PDF, I signed a piece of paper I keep on file. Just need to print the date, my computer takes a picture. Then move and resize to the dotted (or solid) line. Save, e-mail back.
Doc-u-sign has the electronic signature and initials, you just verify it is you.

Oregon State only played 6 games last year because the PAC 12 shortened the season. Scouts and evaluators had less data to work with and everyone had to extrapolate. One would expect draft evaluations to differ a lot.

Lot of guesses by all teams in this year’s draft. Even at the top of the draft. Wilson, Lance, and Fields being huge guesses.

I guess recognizing that signing him was still possible wouldn't have made as good a story …
