IMO and many others lol Mcfadden isn't good and we need too draft someone. Just because our O line is good we shouldn't get a top RB? Makes no sense. I think Murray left a lot of yards on the field last year, weren't many big runs. Mcfadden would be a lot worse.

I think McFadden would have had similar results to Gordon/Coleman if he played for Wisconsin/Indiana in 2014.

He almost certainly would have, he's not the same player when he came out tho. 5 years is a longtime in the NFL for a RB. He's been injured a ton.

Thanks for the effort
Lots of very good players

I would like to make a guarantee right here and now.
Unless we make a huge deal before the draft for a RB, we are drafting one.

  • Peters is a talent for sure. I tend to think after using our public good-will allowance on Hardy, we will not take a head case-case at our most high-profile draft choice. No denying his talent though.

  • Rowe would help us, I think.

  • I'm mixed on Hunter, but the 3rd round would ease my qualms some

  • Grady Jarrett probably won't make it the late 3rd....let alone the late 4th. Some even think he can go late 2nd. Good player though and steal if we could get him there.

  • Alexander in the 5th would be good value.

  • I'd say Clark is a higher probabalilty than Peters....taking character risk guys later isn't so crazy. Taking them both would be out, I think.

Could not agree more, Hunter is searching for a position similar to JPP from giants only with no production gets the cleanup stats, Freaky but needs to develop a pass rush. IMO

I am thinking in the first Gurley-Malcolm Brown-OO- looking for a trade down, in that order.

A great rushing attack is the difference between 13-4 and 8-8.
No average RB is going to get the job done regardless of how great the O-line is.

In case anyone is confused on who I want ill tell you....

TODD GURLEY.

yes, I absolutely would trade up to get him.

Would be fine with me.
I think the improved record last year was due to a bunch of things, for sure including the run game:
  • Improved Oline filtered in to everything else
  • Improved defense in 2nd year in scheme . But helped by ground game and QB being so efficient
  • Same RB had great year...great running, best blocking, huge pass game threat, better play calling
  • Same QB had great year...great passing efficiency, great run game threat, great blocking, improved WR routes
