We’re not going to be 4-2 at the bye when we have opponents like the 49ers and Chargers before it. Chargers will be too much for this exposed defense to handle, especially considering the Cardinals of all teams exposed them. 49ers are an obvious L. This is even considering we win against the Patriots, which I am beginning to doubt more and more watching the excuses the coaching staff and players come up with. Let’s be real here, it’ll be more like 3-3 at best. I’m really predicting 2-4 if they don’t clean up their act, which they likely won’t.
this. 3-3.

How the team looks against New England will paint a possible picture of how the team might perform against San Francisco and the remaining schedule.
..true to some extent. By Dec many teams core fundamentals change. Teams evolve, chemistry builds.

But I see what your saying I think how the team perform Vs Pats, is indication for next 4-5 games.

Until, new prospects come into play later on.

This was my preseason prediction at the bye. Initially I thought based on our schedule this would be fairly easy to achieve . A conservative outlook. And now it’s looking like 4-2 would much better , a positive outlook, after falling to 2-1 with these next 3 games against much tougher opponents.

The potential losses I had in this stretch was against Jets( with Rodgers) , SF and LAC. After starting 2-0 I was beginning to think I under estimated this team and was thinking 5-1 was a reasonable expectation.

Now assuming we win Sunday 4-2 looks pretty darn good. I think after a surprising and disappointment upset at the hands of AZ this weeks game against Pats looms much larger.

This is a game we simply can’t afford to lose now if we expect to stay on track. Otherwise it would make these two two games on the road virtually must win games. Or a monumental slide could begin.
I’m not confident this team can even beat the Pats. They were exposed. Reminds me of that Broncos game a couple of years ago that derailed the season. Hope I’m wrong.

Regular season means nothing in reality. It’s whether the same trends of Dak QB play is evident during the season as “peak Dak”, meaning can he show he can get on enough of a hot streak to carry the team through the playoffs against good teams. And right now, he looks even worse and he can’t even find his WRs in the end zone now.

The Pats held the Dolphins to their (relative) lowest offensive output thus far this season. I don't see the Cowboys putting 40 on them (or anybody else in the next couple of weeks).
Different game different teams. I have seen this so many times in my life watching football. You can't go by the Pats shut down the Dolphins that game has nothing to do with Us vs Patriots.

Hard to believe we woke up Sunday morning and this team was considered one of the vest best teams in football isn't it!

Yeah it is. When you lose to the cardinals the way we did, you deservedly lose any and all credibility you had before. We got exposed in all 3 phases of the game. BY A TEAM PICKING IN THE TOP 5 OF THE DRAFT

The key is going 5 and 1 and getting the win against the 49ers

I'd say that the 49er game is a must win. They have to get the number 1 spot and have the tie breaker over the 49ers.

You would think after losing to the Cardinals the way they did, counting chickens before the eggs hatch would stop. The Patriots are not a bad team. They have a very good defense and can run the football. I think we better hope we see some improvement in Dallas's defense before we starting counting our money.

They need the win over the Patriots. However, the 49er game is a must win. They need to beat them and their division opponents and at least split with the Eagles.

You just can't lose games to teams like AZ. I remember us blowing games to Jax and GB last season and it cost us home field advantage in the playoffs. To many raod games to overcome to get to the big dance. We're going to have to beat SF on the road in week 5 to make up for that inexcusable loss last Sunday. First we need to take care of business this weekend when the hoodie comes to town.
