You say?

Right up front on your 'attitude'...do you eat your vegetables? :muttley:
And another nonsensical post. If you're trying to come across as lame and lacking any sort of analytical mind, you are succeeding.

Why don't you mute me? You can't handle any sort of convo, so that would be your best bet.

What exactly did the Cooper trade do? A couple playoff games, a lot of inconsistency, some sulking, a bad contract, and ultimately a bad trade to get rid of the guy.

Cooper was a net negative here.

Cap became the dominant roll after draft choices came to front of team needs.

Bad trade…how about moving up to get Mo Claiborne? Man that was a turd sandwich. Good trade??? I am
sitting here struggling to think of one. Seriously I don’t have any.

. :muttley:  Watch it, your lips are moving again!

Dak Prescott is still the Cowboys quarterback and Jerry owns the team...still!

Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott actually rose in a poll of the NFL's top quarterbacks by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler despite having a down season by his usual standards.

The two-time Pro Bowler moved up from 10th to ninth.

"He's been a top-10 quarterback for a few years now," an AFC executive said to Fowler. "Part of his game that was so great was the ability to run the ball and throw more play-action off that. They didn't have that as much with weapons on [the] outside. But I'm not down on him. He's accurate, he can extend and make plays. He's elite in his decision-making."

(4,000 yard seasons with coaches)

Bill Parcells 2003-2006 (1) Wade Phillips 2007-2010 (3) Jason Garrett 2010-2019 (5) Mike McCarthy 2020-Present (2)

By the way, did Troy have a single 4,000 completion season? No Did Roger Staubach? No
Those are really bad comparisons and you know it.

NO, not at all...the facts that affect evaluation does not solely rest on a Lombardi trophy and insult of the past beyond the name of Jimmy Johnson...and I'm already aware of the fact.

I won't refute the complete picture and refuse to build a complete case, just because a group wants to toot their own horns in observation. No...

The stats of 4,000 yards a season points directly to success in the real world place of a developing NFL standard as it does reflect such progress in significant periods of time with a non-Jimmy setting. The hidden and allowed value of shaming Jerry is a poor excuse in a valid current team status and strengths they own presently.

It is a major achievement on the offensive ledger of teams now. That is without refute.

No, not at all on your presented reason for my posting.

Your reason denies value in improving beyond a label of being inept. Not the real truth but a stereotype.

Football was different in the '70s and '90s.

If both those QB's had played in todays football they could have thrown for 4000+ yards per season routinely.
Oh, foolishness also was.

I learned to not place blame on convenience of holding an opinion from then on.

That there are similar measuring tools applied way earlier and also today...apparently the sport hasn't so much changed as has the degree it is managed and general levels of talent.

Your implied failure standard fails the litmus test.

This is the fact:

The Cowboys' inability to get over the hump in the playoffs certainly predates Prescott. Their last title was nearly 30 years ago (1995).

One can't say that and have valid credability...it was what it was. Progress through time is a sequence of events. That part has changed, but as noted above.
