If we’re going to make a run here this is our chance. We have a streak of 11 straight wins at home. Roadblocks are divisional games with Wash and Philly, and a tough one with Seattle.

Going into December after seeing plenty of Bills and Dolphins games they are less daunting as previously thought. We get Detroit at home as well.

The season is long and lots of things can happen as we’ve already seen. The key is to build towards playing your best football by the end of the season.
we need to go 4-1 in the next 5 games.

Make a run at what??????? This division belongs to the Eagles, the Cowboys may or may not make the playoffs, but if they do it will probably be one and done or maybe two and done. But either way, the Boys aren't beating teams like the EAGLES OR 9ERS anytime soon. The Cowboys have to be one of the most undiscipline team in the NFC and it's because of this that they'll be the main course on someone else's menu............

4-1 in this 5 game stretch puts us at 9-4 heading for the stretch run. Basically 1-3 gets you to 10 wins and into the playoffs. 2-2 gets you to 11.. 3-1 gets us 12 wins for the third straight season. I think most of us would call that a success. Win all 4 of the home games including Philly and take care of your business at Carolina, and we're 10-3 and in the HFA conversation. Totally changes the color of those last 4 games. The confidence of a 5 game win streak heading into the stretch cannot be overstated. This team can do it and if Dak continues on his current path I think they WILL do it.
For once @RonnieT24 you are speaking my language.

If we lose any one of the next 3 games we’re going to have a tough time making the playoffs. This is the softest part of the schedule we have left. We already have 3 conference losses and securing a wildcard with less than 10 wins with mounting conference losses is difficult. We could end up on the short end of a number of tiebreakers.

For me it's not about any of that look let's just get to the 15th or 16th week then we could start worrying about what our record is what our chances of going into the playoffs and who are matchups might be we are in the way too early stages to be worried about what games are coming up five games from now one week at a time people don't overreact either way big win big loss doesn't matter you play them all and then you see how it shakes out..

Wait you think the Cowboys might lose to the Giants, Panties or Commodores? I mean I know it's an any given Sunday league but those teams are already in draft jockeying mode. No the team cannot take them lightly but I think this team learned from the AZ and 49er games how to keep their eyes on the proverbial prize. I don't expect another letdown the rest of the year. Now that the "I need to be a football player" light has gone on for Dak I think the team will saddle him up and ride him (and CeeDee). And I think that's gonna be good enough for at least 6 more wins. 7 counting the wild card game! :)

I’m pulling for this team as much as anybody. But even if we somehow make up the 2 1/2 to Philly, they still finish with New York, Arizona, @ New York. They can sleep walk to 3-0. Dallas ends their last 3 with @ Miami (playoff team), Detroit (division winner) and @ Washington (possible 7 seed).
Nothing is guaranteed in the NFL, for us or the Eagles. We creamed the Jets and they lost to the Jets with their backup corners intercepting Hurts 3 times.

Remember last year Hurts got hurt and they didn’t win until the final game sweating out HFA. Lots of variables to come. Goedert is out. Hurts knee. You never know. I wish they were playing KC this week having said that. Two weeks will help out that knee.

I never said I think they will lose to the Giants, Panthers and Commanders. Can you not read? All I’m saying is you can’t mark down any wins with the Cowboys regardless who they’re playing. We found that out against AZ.

that would be even better. I think that has real possibility.

the challenge is in the last 4 weeks, where philly gets giants and commanders and we have to play Bills, dolphins and lions
I think you mean Giants and Cardinals. They've already played the Commanders twice. yes it will be a challenge but that's the position the team has put themselves. Just really need to focus on one game at a time as cliche as that sounds. It's a week to week league.

That’s what I don’t get with those that say the Division was lost this weekend.

The Cowboys are 2 games back in the loss column with another game at home against the Eagle. It’s reasonable to believe the Cowboys win that game.

That leaves them 1 back in losses. It’s also reasonable to think the Eagles will lose at least 1 game, maybe 2, of their games against the Chiefs, Bills and 49ers. And it’s not out if the realm of possibility they lose to the Seahawks.

Obviously, the Cowboys have tough games upcoming and have to take care of business, but the bottom line is this season is STILL in play. Strangely, the game I’m most concerned about is the Cerise-skins on Thanksgiving. The Cowboys have not played well the last few years on Thanksgiving.

:muttley: :muttley: :muttley: :muttley:  Ever competed and had to work for anything in sport before. At the USAFA , we took out Miami and played Tennessee in the Sugar Bowl. That when appointments to the Academy didn't have a special case authorization for size for football. We were usually outweighed by about 50 pounds per linemen...I was a linebacker there.

Number 2 seed is there for the taking right now.
