Yea, we're getting better. 0-24 in next year's NFC Championship?Switz;3241014 said:Final Scores of our last game of the season the past two years.
This says something about the coaching Staff..
at some point in each of these games the team gave up. That is on the General... like in War... the General = the coaching staff
it is true

Agree, our defense was put in some bad spots with turnovers, and were on hte field too long. It was still 17-3 in the 3rd quarter so I don't think effort had anything to do with it eitehr. Fact is, Favre freakin' threw 2 TD passes that were PERFECT. He was under pressure, but unlike us, he got passes off just before being hit several times. He was great yesterday and that's about it.sonnyboy;3241079 said:We didn't give up. I hate this BS response I have to read over and over from people who just don't know WTH they're talking about.

It's funny but I'm affraid I may have jinked us. In breaking down the game with a friend I made referrence to one of my greatest fears that always pops up when I think we're the bettert team in a key game.
It's the one thing you can't account for in an analysis and often comes into play.
IN GAME INJURIES.
Sounds like sour grapes, but Adams going down was soo bad once it was established that Columbo wasn't 100%.
You just know Free would've replaced Columbo and the entire game plays out differently.
I'm not saying we would've won, because we had other OL issues. I just know it would've been one hell of a game decided late.

Hook'em#11;3241364 said:The give up reason/excuse is just as sorry and pitiful as the injury excuse.
They got beat in every phase of the game. Dominated no less.
sonnyboy;3241389 said:No it isn't. The give up/no heart excuse is just a gut reaction from a crying fan who can't understand how and why things happen on a football field.
Injuries are never an excuse but often a valid reason or explanation for why some teams succeed and others fail.
Many fans can't except this simple fact, because that can't handle the uncertainty of it.
They need certainty and more importantly, someone to blame for thier hurt feelings.
