Dak has been getting better pretty much every year he has been in the league. Anybody that doesn't see that simply doesn't want to. We can debate till the cows come home whether he is "good enough" but the simple fact that he continues to improve cannot be debated. You just need to watch the games and watch him orchestrate the offense. He throws the ball better. His ball placement is light years better than it was when he came into the league. His ability to fit the ball into tight spaces has progressed to an elite level. His ability to decipher defenses is also up there with the best in the league. Does he get fooled at times? Of course he does. There is a DC on the other sideline being paid millions of dollars to fool QBs. The good ones fool everybody.
People act as if the times when a DC gets the better of Dak (and his OC) is proof of some sort of shortcoming on his part. Those people forget that great DCs have made every QB look stupid.. Brady, Montana, Manning, Mahomes, Staubach, Bradshaw, Aikman, Rodgers.. You name the QB and you can find games where they threw 3-4 INTs and generally looked like warm dawg poo because the other defense was really good. Or they just had an off day. Dak is the 7th or 8th highest rated passer of all time.. which means he has had fewer of those "off days" than all but a hand full of QBs. Does that make him an all time great? No of course not.. But what it DOES say is he is WAY above mediocre. Especially considering that he also wins about 65% of his starts.

Kirk Cousins? Cousins has played 4 more seasons in the NFL than has Dak Prescott. and has 3 more wins and TWENTY FIVE more losses to show for it. Despite playing almost his entire career in the WCO he has a lower completion percentage than does Dak Prescott (66.8 to 67.1). If I have to explain the significance of that to you then you should disqualify yourself from this conversation. Never compare Cousins to Dak Prescott. They play the position in entirely different ways and so far Dak's way has been far more successful.
