Minus a 20 yard run by Felix. And a long pass to T.O. on a penalty. No Bennett, Austin, Hurd.

The Browns had 205 yards from the #8 offense last year without Newman on the field.

The browns may come back to earth this season. So that could lessen the impact of this games results.

But they are a pro team that just got handed their rears by a Dallas team without starters on the field.

This is a great start for the season.

Now factor in both back-up running backs saw action and we posted over a buck fifty on a new and improved Brown's defensive front.

This could very well be a magical season.

I think that Derek Anderson is the real deal. There were a few drops and poor timing plays away from making this a different game.

That goes both ways, too.

Forgot completely about Spencer being out, as well.

Not only that TD3, but look at the yards per carry and yards per attempt for the Offense. We also held the Browns to 4.8 yards per pass attempt.

Overall, a very satisfying day.

There is much to be hopeful for, but it is a long season.

I'll say this, there is not a team in the league that I fear.

The only team that beats Dallas is Dallas. We saw some of that in Cleveland's nine minute drive late in the first quarter.

Next week will be a test.

For Philly.

I think we'll see if their offense is for real. Not one of their WRs scare me. Westbrook is one we must contain. He's killed us over and over throughout the years.

This will also be a good test for our offense. Philly will start blitzing as soon as they get off the plane. TO, Crayton, and Witten have to get open quickly and make JJ back off.

I'm always amazed at Philly's ability to stop the run....but when you send as many guys as they do, I guess you're bound to stop the runner.

Getting 487 yards of offense on eight possessions is just insane.

We gained more than 80 yards of offense on five out of eight possessions, and 64 yards on another possession.

In other news...Brandon Lloyd just had a ten yard reception for a first down for the Bears, and has already contributed more to his new team than he had in his entire tenure for the Commanders. Carry on...

Adam I have always wondered, do you cheer and give dap and chest pounds during the games, or do you have more of the analyst approach, who roots for the team but remains extremely calm during the game?

The score may not reflect it, but today was just flat out domination by the Boys.

Could be the start of something special.

I see him as a Tom Landry observer type...

Higher praise, I can't offer...

No kidding, especially considering that Brady is probably done for the season and barely were able to squeak by the lowly Chiefs without him. The Patriots were a legitimate threat to keep us from winning the Superbowl, and the Chargers & Colts looked very human yesterday in their losses as well... the only other team that really looked dominating was the Steelers. The best thing about all of this is that all of the teams that were a real threat to us are in the AFC, and we only have to play the Steelers in the regular season.

I know it's still early, but I think we will get a real gauge on the season after next weeks game against Philly... but so far, so good.
