9ers. Steelers. Packers. Giants. Skins. Eagles. It's rivalry season. Just need the Texans in the Super Bowl.
I was there 3 years ago for the Romo cracked ribs/Jesse Holly OT game. Flying out again Friday for this game, my daughter lives in Mountain View. When I bought the tickets I was hoping Romo would be back, but now I'll get to see the young guns, gonna be great!
After last weeks performance, you shouldn't have to worry about that.haTexans in the SB? I could not live with that thought. Outside of the NFC East Houston is the one team I do not want to see ever make it to the show.

Actually 5 years ago! I was at that game too... time sure seems to fly as you get older
We're competitive, winning games. 1 loss by 1 point in a close contest to the Giants, 2 other games we won handily.
Meanwhile the 49ers have been blown out by the Seahawks and the Panthers after notching an easy win over the Rams in the opener.
I like our chances the way we've been playing on both sides of the ball. The D has reached average level, which is all I was hoping for this year. 20, 23 and 17 pts surrendered in 3 games, as long as we can hold teams below 24 points and the offense scores 27 or more - which it's done twice so far - we should be fine.
When it comes to actual points surrendered, Dallas is 10th in the league after 3 games.
The D is getting some turnovers, which were exceedingly rare last season. 2 interceptions plus 3 fumbles forced, of which Dallas recovered 2 = 4 turnovers in 3 games. That's a MUCH better pace than last year.
I see the 49ers as another confidence builder after the Bears before we enter a tough stretch vs the Bengals, the Packers and the Eagles.
Gabbert looked good against the Rams. I thought he looked like a QB who had finally come around.they have no QB
crowd the LOS with 8 or 9, force Gabbert to throw
Quite honestly, we should stomp the 49ers. Their defense is still formidable with Bowman and some good, young d-linemen (Buckner & Armstead).

the walk of shame in front of coworkers
I agree but we beat the skins handily? Lol they should've won by 20.
i could see the niners getting out to an early big lead and stunning us and then we win it with seconds left. seems to happen every time we play them except for 2014 when we werent ready for anyone first game of season.
oh man that is so cool!! he just seems like such an awesome guy and i love his work. cheers! Not to hijack this thread, but I adore your avatar. I met David Lynch about 3 months ago at a transcendental meditation group he runs in West LA, he does a lot of work for veterans with TBI.
Sorry OP, it's been killing me
Those numbers mean nothing. SF has played the Rams, Panthers and Seahawks. Two of the games were on the road. We will not have the abilities on defense any of those three teams have on defense.
The thing that concerns me about this weeks game is the 49ers Defensive Coordinator Jim O'neil. He is a rex ryan/Mike Pettine descendant and he uses all kinds of odd fronts and hides his rushers well. This will be the week Dak will be challenged Mentally. Against seattle SF on 3rd downs used all different alignments, none of which worked because Wilson beat them repeatedly in and out of the pocket.
on sunday sf rushed 3 and dropped 8 on a 3rd and long then on the next one it looked like they were rushing 3 and when the ball was snapped they brought 7 and what looked like press man turned into off zone.
This will be a challenge for our offense. Not to mention Kelly knows our defense and he has a punishing runner in Hyde who I bet they don't go away from using.
