Quite honestly, we should stomp the 49ers. Their defense is still formidable with Bowman and some good, young d-linemen (Buckner & Armstead).

Has anybody seen a 9ers game yet? I've done a few searches, but have no clue what to expect from them. The hype seems to be their Oline & run game is good, but they suck w/ the passing game. I haven't really seen much on their D. Apparently their pass rush is weak.

I have watched their defense on the coaches film for the last two games. They line up all over the place, hide their blitzes and press a lot.

and none of it has worked. The rushed 3 guys against wilson sunday on a 3rd and 20 and he threw a 40+ yard pass to a wide open wr.

So they have problems. My concern for sunday is them running the ball early and playing with a lead or keeping it close then in turn confusing Dak from an alignment standpoint causing turnovers.

however, this team has been so good on first and second downs that unless we get penalties we may not be in many 3rd and longs. Hopefully.

they have issues for sure, but statistically I don't care where they are ranked, they played at Carolina and at Seattle. So I just view those results as most of the league would struggle against both those teams.

If we slow their running game early we should be in a good place. If hyde gets going it could be a struggle.

Those numbers mean nothing. SF has played the Rams, Panthers and Seahawks. Two of the games were on the road. We will not have the abilities on defense any of those three teams have on defense.

The thing that concerns me about this weeks game is the 49ers Defensive Coordinator Jim O'neil. He is a rex ryan/Mike Pettine descendant and he uses all kinds of odd fronts and hides his rushers well. This will be the week Dak will be challenged Mentally. Against seattle SF on 3rd downs used all different alignments, none of which worked because Wilson beat them repeatedly in and out of the pocket.

on sunday sf rushed 3 and dropped 8 on a 3rd and long then on the next one it looked like they were rushing 3 and when the ball was snapped they brought 7 and what looked like press man turned into off zone.

This will be a challenge for our offense. Not to mention Kelly knows our defense and he has a punishing runner in Hyde who I bet they don't go away from using.

Agree that key to success is Dak continuing to avoid costly mistakes.

The niners defense has given up 12 plays of 20+ yards. Pretty shocking after only 3 games.

I hope that continues and could be big news for Terrance Williams and maybe Brice Butler.

We are going to have to do to the 49ers what teams have been doing to us, load the box to stop the running game and make BG beat you through the air, secondary will need to step up.

I thought wed blow out the Bears. I think this game is more competitive, because I dont know what to expect from Dak minus Dez. If they load the box Dak is going to have to get the ball to Butler and/or Twill. Beas and Witten will get thiers but I think if we are going to win we will need to have success past the usual suspects.

WR is MASSIVE need in next years draft. We have Beas in the slot but no one that has shown the ability to step up when Dez is out.

I still think we win though.
