nfl.com said the league will probably wait until the legal process is concluded so he's probably playing. The one I don't understand is Josh Brent. He met with the commissioner the same time as Aldon Smilth.

But they didn't even acknowledge it. I've never seen DC.COM just ignore a story like that.

I believe both teams will have the ability to score upon the other.

In the end, though, their offense will outscore ours by ten points.

This means little.

Everybody wakes up to play us.

Your right. No big difference without Bowman, Aldon, McDonald, both corners, Whittner, Dorsey....

Maybe the Cowboys D will "wake up" to.

I don't agree they have a duel threat QB who can extend plays hurting you with his legs and arm. Plus they have one of the top backs in the league. The Cowboys have issues defending the pass and run. Just look at their front 7 arguably the worst in the league. Enough said.

Well, Gore is average these days. Pass rush should just keep Kaepernick in the pocket. I don't think you can call the front seven the worst in the league until they play at least a game or two.

You obviously watch very little of this team.

I think this game comes down to Dallas defense controlling the SF running game. If SF can run the ball effectively then it opens up their passing game. This does not mean stopping Gore alone but Kap as well whose running skills scare me more than his passing skills.

This game is a toss up.

49ers passing game isn't that strong and they have all kinds of problems on defense.

I don't know who will win but this game is much more winnable now then when the schedule came out.

Ian Williams may end up being the NT for the 49ers. Ourlads didn't have him listed.

Funny how SF can have 7 new starters, and we can too. But their 7 are all pros in their eyes even though most do not know any more about those players than they do our own.
But I come to expect no less from the usual suspects on here. Seems many newcomers come in with this attitude. I think they are out recruiting them.

I predict that Dallas will win the yellow flag contest...but I think the Cowboys show up and show some class as well.

I'm concerned about the possible trigger happiness of the officials this season, they are already a huge negative to the sport without giving them the green light to throw ticky-tack flags

When we beat them, the usual suspects will be telling us the 49ers are hurt and have so much turnover that it's not a good win.

I get that no one is in love with Kap's throwing, but Boldin, Crabtree, Lloyd and Vernon Davis is a pretty darn strong receiving group, probably one of the best in the league. In fact I don't think we have any answer for Davis at all defensively. Who is going to cover him, Heath?

And while Gore may have lost a step the rookie Hyde has had a very good pre-season. Throw in that Kap is probably significantly faster than anyone in our front 7 and I think too many people are sleeping on the Niner's offense for this game.

Amen...brother Ben. And the way things get out of hand against the Cowboys, I can hardly wait.

Agree on the offense but I believe the game will come down to turnovers.

This and special teams could turn things comfortably...(I didn't want you to think I only sound sharp on a topic)

But they didn't even acknowledge it. I've never seen DC.COM just ignore a story like that.

How a point of punishment comes down, is not guaranteed on a set timetable, beyond reasonable. I have the sense that they release information when the NFL is presented in best setting environment socially.
