I knew it was only a matter of time. The SB goes through them folks. Loaded team. Brock has developed a chemistry with Kittle this past month as well.

49ers aren't going to win the Super Bowl with a rookie QB, but they can knock a team out of contention. I still have odds on Eagles going and probably losing to the Chiefs.

NFC is so wide open (and flawed), and that includes the 49ers and Eagles.
Could be some surprises, but, really, nobody should really be surprised at any outcome.

They will lose. Somebody will make Purdy have to beat them and they won’t
Yeah, I just can't imagine a team lead by a 7th round rookie winning a Super Bowl when QBs like Mahomes, Allen, Brady, Rodgers, etc exist in the playoffs.

If Purdy can beat 3-4 top quality teams/QBs in a row, then I will be astonished (and happy for him frankly).

Yeah...the Super Bowl is a whole other animal. AFC is chock full of stud QBs.

Mainly talking about the NFC here.
We all know Rodgers and Brady have had sub-par years but are the two that most teams probably fear in the NFC (not their teams overall, just them)
The 49ers "might" face one of them...maybe neither.
The rest of QBs in the NFC don't strike fear, even if Hurts was having a great year pre-injury.
They are ok, but they don't have playoff skins.

Hey, in the end, anyone betting on a particular team to make the SB from the NFC has long odds.
I don't know what they are, but I suspect odds are against any one team making it.
Someone will make it, but who is a toss-up

Who cares. So sick of hearing about the 49ers. They have played an absolute garbage schedule against 2nd/3rd string QBs for 2 months.
They also went almost an unheard of 2 months without playing a true road game.

Hey, I hear you.
The NFC is wide open.
Imo, this was news for one the top seeds though....that's all.

Look at the QBs each team has faced in the last 9 games

Dallas last 9 games (7-2)

vs "Good" QBs (2-2)
...Rodgers--lost
....Lawrence--lost
...Cousins--won
...D Jones---won (I'm being generous putting him here)

all the other 5 games were vs backups or lesser QBs...

49ers last 9 games (9-0)

vs "Good" QBs in 2022 (4-0)
...Brady--won in blowout
...Herbert...won
...Tua--won
...G Smith...won... Pro Bowler

like Dallas, the other 5 games were mostly vs lessor QBs or backups

I also said garbage teams not just QBs. And I also said they didn't play a true road game for almost two months in another post in here. Herbert/Brady were at home. I think those games would be different on the road. They've had a very favorable schedule and I'm just tired of hearing about how great they are. If they go on to win the Super Bowl I'll give them all the credit they won't need but right now I'm not.

..for what its worth. We're right up there, with all of them. I believe Dallas has stamina to go deep.

IF... they dont shoot themselves in the foot.

Eagles aren’t going to the SB either.

That is the issue the team is loaded with (especially OL and DL) and Garappla and now Purdy dont have to do too much to win.

Not to mention an elite RB, elite receiver, and an elite TE. People may be sick of hearing about them, but they are the most likely NFC rep in the Super Bowl even with a rookie QB. They could run single wing without a QB and probably still be the favorite.
