Not to mention an elite RB, elite receiver, and an elite TE. People may be sick of hearing about them, but they are the most likely NFC rep in the Super Bowl even with a rookie QB. They could run single wing without a QB and probably still be the favorite.
I'm inclined to agree, but their lack of prove-it is a legitimate criticism.

It'll be interesting to see how they stack up against better teams. I think they'll be fine, FWIW. I thought they became favorites as soon as they traded for CMAC and felt he only needed to stay healthy to keep them in the hunt.

CMC is one of a kind when healthy. But he's not healthy a lot.

Well-rounded team.

Just so folks are clear though, Purdy is playing good ball.

I know once the chips are down Brady and Rodgers are probably the most feared in the NFC, even if their stats are down this year.
still......

true
approaching 2000 yards (again) this year, so he's in a good cycle
Will end the year in the top 2 or 3 among all RBs and WRs in yards from scrimmage

I knew it was only a matter of time. The SB goes through them folks. Loaded team. Brock has developed a chemistry with Kittle this past month as well.
No, the SB goes through the 1 seed.

49ers, Eagles, Cowboys in that order imo. Though playoffs get wonky and these teams are close.

No running attack at all.
Two points. We're very easy to run against unless we completely focus on the run. Which we can't do against the unequivocal playoff GOAT. And do you know who plays QN for the Bucs?

49ers are led by the defense, not the QB.
Eventually you need the QB to win a game for you. Or at least be a huge difference maker. Because there is always going to be an elite QB that will put up points on that D. No matter how great they are. It's inevitably going to happen.

49ers are still an elite QB away from being a true SB contender imo. Three years ago Jimmy G could not make the plays when he absolutely had to. Last year he folded when his D wasn't getting turnovers.

I just don't see Purdy ever outdueling a Mahomes or Allen type QB in a SB. A 7th round QB can only be carried so far.

And what if they play like they were earlier in the season…then you do..
man be a fan and have some faith in them, instead of always doom and gloom.

Early in the year they were one of the worst run defenders in the league. They still aren't good at it. There has been no indication they will turn this around. The run game becomes even more important in the playoffs - couple that with Prescott making dummy throws and our WRs who can't catch consistently and it just isn't going to happen.

Again, you don't win Super Bowls with this type of defense.

Somebody is gonna get a double dose of Deebo and Mccaffery..

They tore Tampa's Defense up and it's pretty good.

This team is Ascending upwards with all of their playmakers together.

I won’t sleep on New York. Not because I think they are the most talented, but simply based on matchups.

They draw the Vikings round one, who they just played and played well. Then if they win, they play familiar Philly. They very easily could be heading to SF or Dallas for the NFC Championship
