I linked an article and basicially they can cut him after two years and in essence it would have been a 2 year deal at 25m per year and they would be out from under any major cap hits.

Front office executives don't often waste their time shooting down reports, but late Sunday night, Trent Baalke couldn't help himself.
The 49ers general manager issued a strongly worded statement denouncing a rumor being circulated by KBME-AM, which said that the team was interested in dealing quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
The report listed the Eagles and Bears among the suitors.
"Colin is our quarterback and we are excited to have him," Baalke said. "He is not going anywhere. The media reports suggesting otherwise are without merit and, quite frankly, ridiculous."

I think Kap is turning into a coach killer. Hope goes to Philly.

I don't know if he is a coach killer.
Harbaugh went out of his way and told media, HE IS GREAT!! Whether he believes that or not is irrelevant.
Point is he stuck up for him.

On a side. Man, Kap throws the nicest, longest line drive throw that I have ever seen. Seemed like it was on a rope.... Went far... Didn't hit the ground.

I love the downgrade to Gore.

I know people are spilling all over themselves with worry about Kaep but seriously. The guy is an average QB. He had MUCH better WR's in SanFran and he still sucked as a passer.

He wouldn't scare me in the least on an Eagles team whose biggest WR threat right now is Riley Cooper.

Lolol..you aren't dealing w teenagers...he's a grown *** man..a trade isn't going to break his confidence

A trade right after getting a franchise deal would affect someone as temperamental as him. Going after some pleb on Instagram because he said something negative, this is not the actions of well adjusted pro athletes. Kaep doesn't even understand wearing another teams hat can construed as a bad thing. That Philly crowd would chew him up and spit him out.
