49ers Schedule

Well, I'm seeing a lot of post trying to convince people that the 49ers aren't very good. So if we win and people say we beat a bad team then we can only blame the ones trying to convince people right now that the 49ers aren't a good team for fanning that fire.

True, I have seen those posts as well.
Just go and win. Then I will be, ok, great, move onto the next game.

Either way there will be a lot of interesting takes, and many emotional heat of the moment posts.

I don’t worry until the game starts! JG took so much out of the sails that I’m immune to losing etc. use to get real mad. Now I just drink more!

Yeah, I understand that. Right now I have no feel for the game one way or the other.
But come game time, I may get that nervous feeling. Which I really have not had since the KC & LV games.

Its funny how if we beat those teams media is like who have they played?? Niners do it and it’s like omg this team won 7 of their last 9!!! CHAMPIONSHIP! Cowboys shouldn’t even show up. Im so ready for this game. Wish it was today.
nah... got to enjoy the build up. It is all part of the enjoyment of football. Im flying out Saturday morning... si I get to start packing and what not, again.. all part of the fun.

It’s a quarterback league…we got the better qb by far…

If we can get to Jimmy G early, get some hits, get him rattled some. He will start throwing picks or hurried errant passes.
Key is getting to him. With DLaw and Gregory, then Micah all in that mix. That could open up some plays for other DL as well.

Finality sucks. By around 7 Sunday evening we could be talking about what could have been, players cleaning out there lockers, exit interviews, and Quinn’s and Moore gone…….this team will never look the same. Tons of FA’s etc.

I’m not ready for that! I want to win

I think the game off helps Parsons more than anyone, not playing college ball in ‘20 and only playing 12 or so games in college…Hope he’s energized.

They beat the Rams and Cincinnati both teams are better than any of the teams the Cowboys have beaten this season. Before someone brings up New England they were 2-3 when we beat them.
Not sure how good the Bengals are. They got swept by the Browns, lost to the Jets, got blown out by the Chargers, lost to the bears.

Hearing the media say no one wants to play the 49ers in the playoffs is just hilarious to me. They hype that 6 seed team as if they have been slaying better teams all season. They are a media sweetheart but the hype is not believable by most serious football fans. They have been as flawed as any team for most of the season. They are a figment of the media's imagination but the reality of the situation will set in on Sunday at kickoff. Dallas will dominate.

Everyone is so quick to point out that we won 6 games vs the NFC east... (mind you the eagles are a playoff team...)

But no one points out the 9ers wins...

Here is who the beat this year.
Lions
Eagles (week 2)
Bears
Jags
Vikes
Falcons
Texans
Bengals in OT
and the Rams twice (who they have owned under Mcvay)

That's a who's who of bad NFL teams. The Bengals and Rams are good, but the Bengals have proven to be very up and down.
More important question is, who have they lost to?

Regular Season
Date Opponent Result
09/12 (Sun.) @ Detroit W 41-33
09/19 (Sun.) @ Philadelphia W 17-11
09/26 (Sun.) Green Bay L 30-28
10/03 (Sun.) Seattle L 28-21
10/10 (Sun.) @ Arizona L 17-10
10/24 (Sun.) Indianapolis L 30-18
10/31 (Sun.) @ Chicago W 33-22
11/07 (Sun.) Arizona L 31-17
11/15 (Mon.) LA Rams W 31-10
11/21 (Sun.) @ Jacksonville W 30-10
11/28 (Sun.) Minnesota W 34-26
12/05 (Sun.) @ Seattle L 30-23
12/12 (Sun.) @ Cincinnati W 26-23
12/19 (Sun.) Atlanta W 31-13
12/23 (Thu.) @ Tennessee L 20-17
01/02 (Sun.) Houston W 23-7
01/09 (Sun.) @ LA Rams W 27-24

So just like us they couldn't handle the good teams. Oh wait, they at least beat the Rams. What does that tell us?

Nothing I guess. Just play. :)

Yea if that was Dallas schedule and wins we would be tarred more than we are now at 12-5

They beat three teams we lost to Denver, KC and the Raiders. Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase have had terrific seasons. They beat Pittsburgh who’s in the playoffs. They lost to Green Bay in OT. Cincinnati has a pretty good team. They’ve come a long way from where they were last season.

I watched all the Bengals games. Or pretty much all of them.
They are pretty good.
Some of those losses they should have won. They are a young team still learning how to win.

Are you sure this isn’t the 88 49ers?? That’s what everyone is making them sound like.

So down the stretch, SF went 3-1 against playoff teams while Dallas down the stretch went 1-3 against playoff teams( one win against the Eagles resting their players)....Gee I don't know why the media would be leaning towards SF.....

Nothing I'd like more than a Cowboy blowout against the SF but I think it's a tough matchup!

So they beat 4 playoff teams (including Rams twice). We beat 3 playoff teams (including Eagles twice). The only other playoff team we beat was New England, in overtime.

Man what a bunch of whiny fans. So what SF beat more playoff teams down the stretch.
It doesn’t matter now does it?

it seem like some are waiting for a loss and a reason to get beat so they can sound off after.
