I thought that it turned the game/momentum around. We were dominating the game up until that point and had the Vikings on their heels. I just assumed we were going for it and was shocked to see the kicker out their. Suisham hasn't earned that trust to kick FG's like that.

Barber hasn't run it on 4th and short in forever. We have Austin running it, throws to MartyB, anything but Barber running it. If we went for it, I guarantee it wouldn't have been a run by Barber.

I agree, the Vikings were the better team...

But what a ridiculous decision...and I said it at the time.

Suisham is anything but a given.

If Wade wasn't going for the first down, I would have been happier to see the punting unit come on to the field.

Personally...I would have gone for it. But punting was better than letting that bum miss another one.

Right, we should have sent the message that we didn't come up here to kick on 4th and 1, .. we came up here to go for it.

It would have sent a message to our team and theirs.

Could not believe we kicked, and like someone else said, Suisham(sp?) has not earned the right to try that long of a kick.

To tell you the truth, even if our kicker is money, I still got for it to set the tone, and send the message.

Bad decision because:

1- Field position if ya miss

2- The FG kicker, who my guess is won't even be with the team next year, has been less than reliable...and is anything but a given from that distance.

3- The Vikings couldn't stop the offense.

4- In the playoffs a FG isn't 3 points...it's a loss of 4 points because, especially with an offense like the Vikings have, you have to score TD's

5- Horrible message to send to the team.

6- Read #5 another dozen times.

i really thought we were going to treat it as if we were in 4 down territory.

it was one of several bad decisions made by the coaches throughout this game

were moving the ball and that killed any kind of momentum we had

In the regular season, Wade would have gone for it, like he has many times. Changing now was just asking to lose. He learned this from Schottenheimer.

I agree , But I have to say that the offense drive all the field to get to 1st and goal , if a touchdown happens there it will be a tied game , stupid of Romo to take a sack and pushed back for a FG. Mainly on O-L but Romo was not heady today.

Kudos to Minnesota D , they came to play, We'll see them next year perhaps.
