I know the obvious answer is BPA or BPA at a position of need but

If we land a DE, CB and SS in the first 3 rounds what position would you like to see addressed in the 4th?

WR? TE? OT? RB?

a 2nd DE? A 2nd CB?

I think I would go for either a WR that can return kicks or a RB that can return kicks. Maybe even a 2nd CB especially if he can return kicks.

Considering that it's obvious and every fan wants DE, CB, S in 1st 3 rounds id say there's less than 50% chance of it actually happening.

But playing along with your scenario Id say probably TE with OL being a possibility if the right guy falls. And there's always the possibility of mediocre Big 10 LB as well...

Can't see them doubling down on DE. In your scenario, I would be fine with any position being addressed in the 4th. I'd hope for an athletic developmental OG/OT type. The kid from A&M.

I think the wisest move would be to draft according to the draft class' strengths. That would be DB and DL this year, which also happens to be our biggest needs. We also like to rotate guys in and out, so I'd be perfectly happy if we go with another DB or DL in the fourth.

In the 4th round, I just can't see a WR or TE...I could see our first pick being one of the top 3 TE's, but nowhere do I see a WR being picked unless something weird happened...if we don't get one of the 3 top TE's, then I don't think it is worth taking a TE as what they have now is comparable...with the signing of TWill (blech) for a few years, I don't see a WR ever getting on their field other than possibly, maybe, potentially returning kicks...tough to hang on to a roster spot as a guy that is a one-trick pony....and, if the defense does it's job, there won't be many kick-off returns to field (I don't see a 4th round rookie returning punts)....thus, I see the pick going more for defense or potentially an OL

You really don't think Swaim and Hanna can be upgraded? Neither has the upside of a starter. This is a pretty deep TE class, taking a chance on a TE in the 4th makes a lot of sense. Kittle, Saubert, Sprinkle, Roberts, Leggett...I think there could be someone there with starters upside

If it played out as you say, 4th round is still expected to be a player, think it is in our best interest to look at those spark players. WR would not be out of the question, OLineman, DLineman - injured player who falls.
Think I would be looking at a WR to bolster the status quo.
But really - who the hell knows.

Probably CB since the class is so deep in its a place of need for us.

But if we go that much defense, we could look at TE, WR, or especially OT.

Sidney Jones if he's still there would be too sweet. Otherwise another EDGE player, or RB.

I'm still going with the best talent available. If jake butt is there I'm taking him.

Highest rated defensive player on the Cowboys board regardless of position.

Is Mixon still there? If he slides on draft day, don't know if I pass in the 4th. People are saying he is a 2nd round but with that tape out there, you could see a slide
