I also need something to take the edge off tonight. This is a potentially momentous occasion for Cowboys fans. A win propels the Cowboys full speed into the playoff race and all but eliminates the Eagles from contention, putting them into spoiler-mode.

Seattle will easily lock up HFA, so Dallas needs this win and a win at Carolina if they are to have a chance at a first round bye. The only games Dallas can afford to lose, ironically, are the home games vs. Denver and KC.

Cracking one open right now at 7pm, watching these idiots on the Angelo Cataldi show. All 4 of them picked the Eagles to win because they are rallying around Owens being gone and what not and chanting Dallas sucks. Then they wonder why I get so excited when we beat these idiots.

You know, that sounds pretty good about right now, getting ready for pre-game. As long as the TSN (ESPN affiliate type station) here in Montreal doesn't cut it off and show some crappy hockey. Then I'll be drinking a case.
