Think they pick someone who they intend to develop as Kendricks' apprentice. But as far as I've understood, Kendricks is seen as filling the LVE role. So, the need isn't as urgent, and/but that lends itself then to another Damone Clark-like draftee... someone who impressed in college, but who'd suffered some injury that will make it necessary to stow him away for some time.

No offense, and maybe it's just a brain cramp on my part... I don't understand the question. We did not draft anyone in '23 that we presumed would be ready to take the LT slot in '24.
