5 Places You Have Never Been To and Want to Go

I never put up a list.

There are obviously more, but I will limit each to five

Man made things I would like to see:
  1. The Great Pyramids of Giza
  2. Stonehenge
  3. Great Wall of China
  4. The ****** the Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  5. Taj Mahal

Cities I want to visit. (That I haven't already)

  1. Hong Kong, China
  2. Saint Petersburg, Russia
  3. Dubai
  4. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  5. Berlin, Germany

Well I never been to Spain
But I kinda like the music
Say the ladies are insane there
And they sure know how to use it
They don't abuse it
Never gonna lose it
I can't refuse it

:D

Seriously, Spain, Germany, Israel and Hawaii.

I think I've been to more places outside the US than places in the US.

Mine are:

1. Australia
2. Hawaii
3. Rio
4. Russia (summertime only, I ain't freezing for nobody)
5. Oregon Coast

If you feel like explaining why, go ahead.

No particular order. I love archaeological sites.

1. Machu Picchu in Peru.

2. Masada fortress in Israel.

3. Colosseum in Rome, Italy.

4. The Great Wall of China.

5. Pyraminds and Sphinx in Egypt.

Hostile, if you ever go to Machu Picchu, I recommend you do the Inca Trail. I do medical mission work in Peru every summer, and visit Machu Picchu everytime I go. If you want to truly take in the sights, the history, and the culture, this would be a great way to experience it.

Hawaii and Italy are the two places I would like to visit before I kick the bucket.

The Vatican I would love to see the sculptures and paintings throughout the Vatican.

If you go, you MUST climb to the cupola of St Peter's Basilica. (be prepared though, LOTS of steps AND the hall with the stairs is VERY SMALL. If you start going up, don't even think you are going back down the way you came. It ain't happening!)

Hmm, I need to put all my pics online somewhere. I have pictures from the top. Very cool looking out over not only Saint Peter's Square, but you can see just about all of Roma proper.

This isn't my pic, but it is what it looks like from the cupola.

Roma straight up kicks ***.

In no particular order..............Brazil, Spain, Greece, Egypt, and China.

Edit: Forgot about India. If I have to switch-out one of the countries i've listed above to make room for India, it will be China.

Florida probably the Keys. I've never been to any part of Florida

One man's trash is certainly another's treasure. I live in Florida. I hate the Keys. Yuck. I feel the same way about people who want to go to Disney World.. Yuck.

As for me?

1. Japan - I love everything about their culture and history. I think they have one of the most unique and interesting cultures in the world. It's one of two places outside of America I might choose to live on day.

2. Australia - Aussies are awesome. I'd love to hit up their beaches, see the Coral Reefs.

3. The Netherlands.. well.. let's be honest here. Amsterdam - For reason inappropriate for this forum ^_^

4. Sweden - I am seriously considering moving there one day, permanently.

5. New Zealand - Might have some of the most beautiful scenery on earth. So many movies are filmed there for this reason (LOTR etc)

Any of the great Tropical beach locations (Jamaica, etc) - I love the beach and the whole atmosphere and beautiful blue see through water.

Been there DID THAT! You'll never want to leave. PM me if you have any questions. Amsterdam is a beautiful city.

It is very possible that I won't like it or consider it a treasure once I've been. I have never been in the state of Florida. Of all the places there the most positives I have heard were the Keys. I am always open to suggestions.

I've been there once. The movie Lost in Translation just about depicts it to a tee. Unless you know the language or have somebody that is a friend who can translate for you, you will feel like you are an alien on a different planet and your communication with the rest of that planet is very basic. Sorta neat experience, but after about a week you get really homesick. And I'm about the least homesick person on earth, but you do miss things like being able to read signs and to eat more 'normal' food.

My friend was over there and knew some very basic parts of the language and was familiar with Japan when we went over there. That helped to a degree. If you are really into video games...great place to go as I saw a bunch of video games over there that didn't hit stateside until about 3-5 years later. I have another friend who lives over there now and teaches English and makes a pretty good living. For the most part he likes it.

I'm originally from NY, but my family went to Florida about once a year growing up. I lived in Atlanta for 9 painful years and Myrtle Beach for 4 fun years.

Now I livei n Orlando.

The Florida natives typically don't like Florida and complain all of the time about it. Kinda funny because the Georgia natives or southern transplants (people from different areas of the south who moved to Atlanta), rave about Atlanta like its the greatest place on earth and you won't find a better place than there.

For me, Atlanta is beyond terrible and Florida has been great. My only problem with the Keys is it's a long hike from just about anything. Disney World is great if you have kids, but there's quite a few things to do and generally I find Florida's weather to be excellent.

5. Antarctica. No joke, I wanna go meteorite hunting.
That would be interesting.
Hope you have a certain area targeted, as Antartica is 1.5 times bigger than all of the USA...and most of the continent is 2 miles high or greater.

I hear it's one of the world's great wonders in beauty.

Surprised not to see more Greece on lists.

That place was ****ing beautiful. Athens was great. Islands were absolutely stunning. Words can't describe it.

And a bonus, I've never seen hotter looking women. And I've been to lots of countries.

Greeks are crazy though, haha.
