5 Round Mock

You got that from youtube?

I do think he's good and have watched him plenty over the years. But don't be surprised if he's there in the late 3rd and maybe even mid-late 4th.

Yeah man. Youtube is good enough to tell if a player has the kind of physical ability you look for.

To me he is in that Ray Rice, MJD type of category.

Whats his weakness?

I actually like the fact that he isn't 6'1 230 pounds.

I watched complete games of him. If he is a late 3rd to mid 4th that means the Cowboys would have to use their 3rd on him because he would be gone by their 4th.

I kind of like it, but Golden would be my issue in this mock.

I like Mike Davis. He's built similar to Emmitt at 5-9, 217. He had a good ten yard time and 3-cone.

Marpet has received a lot of hype, but I still think he is probably a 4th rounder and a good developmental player. You probably meant 2016 in terms of taking over for Leary.

Can Crowder be a Kick returner in the NFL or is he limited to punt returns at his size. He's not overly fast despite being very small. It would be a bit of a strain on the 46 man game day roster to have him and Beasley active.

Ya, I meant 2016

I dont want to say Crowder return kicks because I dont know that he can. I will say that he looks like a more fluid athlete then Harris, so he should at least be as good as Harris as a KR and can match or even better Harris's 2013 as a PR. It will be a tall order replacing Harris production a gunner, but Crowder would still be a plus gunner even if he cant. As a wideout, while Harris can play outside if needed, Crowder will be a much better player out of the slot and offers the potential for more production then Harris on offense. Harris is a decent slot guy, but while he can play outside he is barely passable. Crowder can be an excellent slot WR in the NFL.

Overall I feel Crowder would be an upgrade

They do have to be thinking about who will be the returner if Harris leaves. I'm sure Harris would like to find a team that would give him an opportunity to play more WR.

Felix Jones is available lol

Julius returned kicks at ND

yeah , I watched several of his games in full.
He's a good player.

I'm really not bad-mouthing Davis. I like him and always have.

In the absolute perfect (dream?) world, his upside is more like Gore than MJD, imo.

I don't see that Ray Rice Rice or MJD quicks, speed, or overall vision in Davis. They seemed WAY faster and quicker than him coming out.

It's not like he has a bunch of weaknesses...it's just that to me, none of his strengths are overwhelming either. Not sure that makes sense...but to me it adds up to a possibly good but not great NFL player.

No I understand what you mean..

I'm a sucker for this kind of back too so he may be nothing special but I like what I see.
