And that could be debated as well, if you got by QB rating. It would be either he or Rodgers. Me, personally, it's Rodgers. I'm not sure the game has ever seen a QB as sharp as him before.

Whatchu mean? Didn't you RGIII in season 1. Colin Kaep when he took over as starter?

My bad. Forgot about the loss to Dallas. Doh!
Thanks for the correction.

I was touting the win more than correcting you lol

These arguments are subjective because it's not easy to compare quarterbacks cross-generations. Tony Romo and Aaron Rodgers play in an era where you can't touch the quarterback without getting a flag. And the rules have been structured to protect the receiving game and scoring.
Besides, the current generation always thinks its heroes are the greatest ever. I don't want to argue this point because there's really no way to prove it. I just believe the history of the NFL includes some great quarterbacks. And it's my opinion if Roger Staubach, Dan Fouts, Frank Tarkenton and many quarterbacks of the 70s played under these rules, we'd likely be saying the same things about them.

The refs must visit the hot tub time machine before they officiate Cowboys games then.

How did Romo go from undrafted to this?

pretty amazing.
Kurt Warner too
It does sound like some teams had Romo in the 4th- 6th round range, but just had others there too.

Brady going in the 6th round may actually top it. In any case, crazy stuff for sure.

I said in another thread, I bet there is a countless number of FA's that would have went on to be one of the NFL greats or at least really good players that just didn't have the luck or get their shot at displaying it.

The Cowboys for years now have been showing the league what undrafted players can do. Not saying we are the only team, but we do find diamonds in the rough often.

Number Six is playing on the frozen tundra this weekend.

In more ways than one.
