Quickies I want to happen before season starts.

1) Cut Weeden, don't want to have nightmares about him ever playing.

2) Hardy Suspension reduced. He already served his time.

3) Add halfway decent backup QB. JG needs to drop his pride and let go of this failure. Bad experiment.

4) Add another good middle LB. If Lee and Hitchens health is any concern at all, we need more depth.

5) Extend Crawford. Can't wait for him to have monstrous year that's being predicted.

The Crawford love i dont get right now. Lets see what he does this year, at least half way. I agree with Weeden, frankly i think Vaughn is professional back up or we cut him too. Neither QB is taking us far this year if Romo goes down.

Hardy will just probably serve the time and not rock the boat.

LB, lets see what we have first.

Agree cut weeden and keep Vaughn one more year and keep showers. If they cut showers he will get claimed.

Hardy will probably stay put

I agree we need another mlb. I bet mcclain doesn't play this year.

Not sold on Crawford yet. Maybe midseason.

1-3 isn't going to happen even though they need addressed. #4 isn't likely either unless another injury and #5 is a wait and see for me, don't buy the milk just yet.

I want to see how the TE's play out because I think Swaim deserves a spot. But, I see Garrett sticking with Hanna over him and we will lose a good player, he will not slip through the wire.

I am all for Weeden going elsewhere but lets be real here.......Vaughn and Showers are not ready to be a #2. Weeden isn't either but the coaches see something we don't.

Add halfway decent backup QB. JG needs to drop his pride and let go of this failure. Bad experiment. - Austin Davis

Add another good middle LB. If Lee and Hitchens health is any concern at all, we need more depth. - he's already on the team - Damien Wilson

6) I would add another a PR/KR

interesting

http://archauthority.com/2015/08/25...ed-attempt-at-constructing-the-53-man-roster/

Quarterbacks (3): Nick Foles, Case Keenum, Sean Mannion

Keenum clearly has the edge over Austin Davis, who’s gotten very abbreviated preseason opportunities. He’s been slightly better than Davis as a starter in the NFL and presents more upside behind Nick Foles.

Running Backs (5): Todd Gurley, Tre Mason, Benny Cunningham, Chase Reynolds, Malcolm Brown, Trey Watts*

More dramatic than the roster battle at this position is the battle for depth chart placement, as Cunningham and Mason will be fighting for the reps that remain behind presumptive starter Todd Gurley.

One thing I want before season start is to kick the tires on Pierre Thomas.

Doubtful there is much tread left on those tires.

Doesn't need to be, a little passy catch out of the backfield here and pass block on third down there. Just show me something Cowboys.

Fully expect to carry 2 QB's. Fully expect the backup to be Weeden for one more year. Not necessarily thrilled about it but that's what's going to happen

5) Extend Crawford. Can't wait for him to have monstrous year that's being predicted.Good possibility.

I would like them to bring in one or two proven kick returners before the final roster is set.

Unless Weeden decides to retire he will be the backup this year
Interested in seeing if we carry 3 qb's but I suspect they will
Then it's about showers or Vaughn for 3rd spot
Crawford won't likely be extended just yet. I too think he is going to breakout this year if he can stay healthy but not sure anything is going to happen till later in the season
Also curious if we add a vet cb or keep one of the young huys

Like it or not, Vaughn and Weeden know the playbook. Even if they suck, the coaches will not release both and bring in a new guy 2 weeks away from the regular season. More than likely Weeden is our #2.

We have Brinkley, McClain, Hitchens, Lee and 10 other linebackers on the squad. We should be set at linebacker through the vet signings or the young guys.

Maybe they are working on an extension. Hopefully, it's a fair deal. Last thing we need is a one year wonder getting a big deal and not delivering.

I would like to see them keep the Ross kid; he was receiving a lot of love from the media (Broaddus) before he hurt himself.

I've heard good stuff on steeples and Ross and thought they might keep both on ps
Now one has a shot at making the 53
Ross is a very interesting prospect
