Halfers would be $100.

You'd owe him $4000 if we lost.

Unless you want to pick the Skins to win too and owe me $100 if they don't.

I know...I have money that I've not even counted yet...so I could pay the 4 grand. But I doubt that I would have too...and the extra $100 would come in handy.

My last post was backwards! I don't gamble at all so I don't know how it all works...now I do, on this bet!!

To be honest, if I actually gambled, I'd place $200 on a team with huge odds for the same reason firehawk said. I wouldnt place it on the Skins, because frankly, I'd kill myself if I had to root for the Skins.

But losing $200 would be probably likely, I understand. But I would risk it with a potential 8G to be earned, if correct.

I'll give you the same odds on the Packers.

I don't gamble.

I'll make the occasional bet (like a bar bet or something), but I don't want to get into gambling.

I didn't do it. Nobody saw me do it. Can't prove anything.

You know what's interesting? That site has the Skins and Giants both at 7-2 to win the NFC East, but to win the Super Bowl the Giants are better odds.

You've got to remember that it is based entirely on where the money is going. The odds start where Vegas thinks the money will go - and then adjust from there to where the money is actually going, so that the house doesn't lose. If too many people are taking the longshot Commanders, the odds will get better, 30:1, 20:1, to force the money somewhere else.

I know that, I just find it intriguing.
