5 veteran free agents to consider at each position

A kicker and Dalton Risner make a ton of sense.

Unfortunately, Stephen will only consider them if they will play for cents.

I'll be here all week.

Anyone we don’t get is good. If we had great people at every spot, but neglected the backup long snapper, there’d be multiple threads SCREAMING “How could they neglect a backup longsnapper? Fools! They don’t care about winning!”
 You’re right lol.

Just curious to why does everyone like Risner? I've read he wasn't very good last year.
• 4 seasons with the Broncos__ starting all.

• Only missed four out of a maximum 66 games he could have played in (16 for 16 2019 & 2020, 15 out of 17 for 2021 & 2020).

• Penalized only 7 times in his career; 3 false starts, only 1 for holding.

• Risner's AV grade for each season --- 6, 6, 6, 5..

Robbie Gould can't kick off and doesn't want to try field goals over 50 yards.

Kicker is the only need.

If a veteran like CB Marcus Peters has anything remaining, he'll want to sign with a team that does not have unquestioned starters at outside CB...
And I was shocked to see how much better the much-maligned Brett Maher’s 2022 numbers were - across the board.

Eye opening!
:omg:

We’ve probably placed our bets with exception of perhaps kicker. Some of those bets I’m not a big fan off (Edoga, R.Jones) but now they are signed they deserve a proper chance to show what they can do before we cut down to 53.

GIve me Kareem Hunt & Dalton Risner and call it a day!
No to either. Names from the past. Been reading risner was a disaster. There is a reason he is not signed. Same with hunt. His Stats weren't impressive and he is slowing down, his biggest asset.
