Jason Flabini ???!!! I watched his whole career in NY - he's as done as a $2 Dollar Steak.

Folks - we are in worse shape than last season - Bledsoe is a year older and slower and our OL that let up 50 sacks LOST a HOF'er - roll that round yer mouth.

I'm sickened over this - I'm sickened that Rivera was the worst UFA signing last season and may be realy to join Fabini on the s crap heap.

We also lost 12 1/2 sacks in 10 starts when Tucker signed with Tampa Bay.

Tucker and a rookie accounted for 25 of those sacks, and every indication is that Petitti looks like a different player this season.

I've still got concerns about the line, but I do not expect it to be worse than last season if Adams stays healthy. If Petitti does end up starting, he should at least be somewhat better than last season. Indications are that Rivera is looking better. Johnson did not have a sack problem at center, and we'll have to see on Kosier at left guard. To me, Kosier is the primary concern.

Almost all of our troubles with the line last season really centered on those two tackles.

No not at all...

FACT: Flo was hurt last year when we were 7-3. Tucker came in and we went 2-4 over the last six. Tucker is gone.
FACT: LA, HOFer or not, is DONE. Nowhere near worth as much as we were paying him to be an immobile inconsistent G. Kosier, though not a HOFer, is a warm body who can move and block in space, which we were sorely missing. He just added an entire section of the playbook we couldn't run with LA... any running play where the LG pulls to the right side.
FACT: We got deeper at RT. Fabini is light years better that Terrible Tucker.
FACT: Any OL we could have taken at 18 would have been a reach and probably wouldn't be starting. Bobby Carpenter solidifies our weak spot in the LB corp.
FACT: The addition of Fasano and the implementation of the 2 TE offense helps our OL.
FACT: The addition of TO helps our OL.

Enough facts for ya? I'm guessing no. Some people will not be reasoned with.

BTW, Kennedy failed his physical, Fabini is a backup not a starter, LA wasn't worth $8 mil a year and couldn't function in our O anymore, Rivera was hurt last season and by all accounts is healthy now, Petitti is light years ahead of last year, Flo is finally healthy and will be in shape by the time we go to Jacksonville......I could go on but even you should get the point.
