51 passes 8 runs

I don't give a rat's butt what other teams are doing, I want ONE damn good RB instead of this running back by committee BS! I would love to see AP in a Dallas uniform...Of course, unless you have a coach that doesn't abandon the run after 2 plays into the 1st quarter, it won't matter who is the RB...

I dont care about the run anymore, sure its good to have balance but this atrocious defense doesnt afford us to patiently build drives.

well I think part of the problem is this defense needs as much rest as possible lol those quick 3 and outs kill us

We threw a lot to the RBs today. Those are essentially runs. Also, who cares about balance as long as you can be effective with your passing game. Drops hurt us more than the lack of a running game today.

They said on the radio that Murray had an ankle issue that kept him on the sideline...more likely was a "coach" issue...

LOL! What? If opposing D doesnt have to worry about the run, it is just a matter of time till they shut down down the passing game. Football 101.

Bro I understand your frustration. Believe me I'm on the same boat. But can't ya enjoy the win for at least 2 minutes?

Sorry I just like to see how we would do in the 1st round of the playoffs. If we can't beat a team that will get the 2nd pick in the draft how do we do against a over .500 team? Hey but soak up the W all you want. Cheers bro

Pure speculation here:

At one point in the game, Murray was on sidelines and said something about the play calling.

Anyone have a clip of it?

I definitely looked frustrated and I could clearly lip read " F'ing BS" come out of his mouth. That was right about the time Dunbar saw a bunch of snaps in a row too.

To each his own. We just won a game that most other times we would have lost. I totally agree that we looked awful for most of the game and I'm not sold we will even make the playoffs but I'm going to enjoy this. Cheers

Yay,, welcome to Arena League Football via Dallas Cowboys style. They might as well leave the NFL and join the AFL..

Completely unacceptable....

I'm guessing the game plan was to throw it way more than run against Min's secondary. However, it clearly got out of hand.

It was even worse than 51 passes to 9 runs since there were 3 sacks and Romo scrambled once. Don't know that I've ever seen an NFL team call 55 passes and 8 runs in a game especially when it was a close game all the way through.

That's not football 101. That's just something you hear about a lot on message boards. The correlation between running effectiveness and winning has been explained many, many times on this board.

You throw the ball alot against teams with bad secondaries and multiple injuries in their secondary. *That's* football 101.

The Vikings aren't even very good against the run -- that's the puzzling part about all of this.

in other news Skins pull out a thriller as well, with 38 runs, 31 passes..

This is just unacceptable... You have to run the ball!

That said is something wrong with Murray? And the run plays to Dunbar were pathetic. He's a guy who needs to be out in space
