Maybe for you. I never felt that game was out of hand.

I never felt the game was out of hand, we never got down by more than three points but it was a tight game that could’ve gone either way in the fourth quarter. The turnovers completely changed the complexion of the game.

The coach for the Colts seems to be in it for the quick money.
Or a small percentage of franchise ownership.
Per Forbes and Statistica:
Indianapolis Colts NFL franchise net worth is $3.8 billion this year - denoting a 16.9 percent increase from 2021.
One percent = 0.1 of $3.8 billion = $38 million

I was yelling for the Colts in the fourth quarter to throw the damned towel before someone got hurt. They actually did kneel the ball on their last possession.

That Colts D is the best we'll face this year. It ain't how bad you look outta the gate. It's how good you look when the buzzer sounds.

RodeoJake, Eagles.... Eagles, RodeoJake... Now you've been introduced. Let's hope the Cowboys thump the very good defense that Philly has right now.

That 4th quarter was surreal. I wish it got me more excited but they had the win sewed up a few minutes in and I felt really bad for Matt Ryan (last start of his career maybe?) and Jeff Saturday (slinks back next year to broadcasting after an epic fail as a coach?)

Five consecutive drives with turnovers by the Colts.
Five consecutive conversions of those possession into touchdowns for Dallas.

Has that been done in NFL history? It sounds like something that would happen if 2019 Alabama Crimson Tide played McNeese State in their season opener. Or it sounds like something that would happen in an episode of The Simpsons.

I wasn't even cheering on the last two, just looking at the tv with my mouth agape.
That game felt like the first Buffalo Super Bowl....

That defense was so salty that I ended up in the ER for high blood pressure.

Well, I question your fandom then. I didn't realize if we did too well you were out.

The Colts D is solid. They came to work last night and that was the only reason it was close at all.

But the 4th quarter was an absolute dismantling. I have never seen anything like that. Just a straight bludgeoning and imposing of a team’s will to dominate.

Dallas has some flaws (all teams do), but when they play to their ceiling, man do they flat out humiliate their opponents

Despite the 35 point blowout that was a 2 point dogfight for 3 quarters. Would like to see the Cowboys get off to a more inspiring start.
It was hard to enjoy after such a poor performance for 3 qtrs

And I'm sure the Giants would've liked to be the top seed the year they were a wild card and had to fight all the way to the title. Sometimes winning just has to be enough.

NBC let us know that the 33 points in the 4th quarter was the 2nd most in NFL history but they never said what the record was.

Dallas' previous high in the 4th was 25, in October 2006 at Carolina, Tony Romo's first NFL start. Dallas trailed 14-10 going into the 4th and won 35-14.
