  • (61) Zack Martin
  • (71) Travis Frederick

Elsewhere in the NFC the Seahawks ended up with 8 players on the list and the Packers tied the Cowboys with 6.

Greg Hardy is absolutely a top 100 player

I'm not sure Jason Witten still is

Got no problem with the number of Cowboys there--it's very generous. but, yeah, Romo at QB8 after last season is not to generous. And to then say 'he's better than most think' is kind of funny.

Romo was 7th in the QB rankings

2. Aaron Rodgers
3. Tom Brady
6. Andrew Luck
12. Peyton Manning
15. Ben Roethlisberger
36. Drew Brees
38. Tony Romo

IMO Ben is too high and Brees and Romo are too low

Not how I would do it, but I think overall the list is fine. They didn't try to squeeze Eli or Wilson in or something truly offensive. All 7 of those guys are very close when you get down to it... and I think Ryan and Rivers are great too.

This also brings up the old debate. Yes I know we need a stud LT and Tyron is that, but do you trade the #46 ranked player with the #1?

I do. Left tackles can be found.

There's an argument to keep him off the list because he hasn't really played since 2013 and he <currently> has a 10 game suspension hanging over his head.

Having Gronk at #3 seems a little high. He's a stud no doubt, but isn't better overall player than Dez for instance IMO.

I think you a make perfectly valid arguments for Dez or Gronk being slightly better than the other.

Dez is one of the top 2 WRs in the league right now. Gronk is the top TE in NFL history on a per game statistical basis.

People sometime forget how truly great Gronk is because he is such a good off the field, but his stats are eye-boggling.

As an example over his career Gronk has caught more TDs per game than Dez Bryant -- which is crazy to think about it.

Good grief I had no idea! Do you know how long he has been in the NFL, and that includes the injury seasons off the top of your head?

Huh?

A franchise LT is a coveted find around the league. Very few offensive linemen can play the position. Even fewer can play it at an elite level.

Not saying they are that easy to find, but can be. That's one thing we are pretty good at actually. However JJ is a once in not 10 years, but all time great players.

Any position can be found. LT is one of the hardest to find. I'd probably only put franchise QB ahead of it on the difficulty list. Maybe a FS with actual range too.

I'd take Smith over Watt every time.

I'm thinking you're just under appreciating offensive line play since it lacks stats and it's not sexy and all.

I love Tyron, and you know me I'm not big on stats, I care about winning only. But I'm sorry JJ cannot be found. Take your blue glasses off and really think about it.

I find having a QB walk off the field at the end of the game rather than being carted off sexy as hell. Getting your QB hit from the blind side every time he drops back to pass is the epitome of un-sexy.

That's why I would put Travis Frederick as the centerfold in the Cowboys calendar. Going from Costa's make-a-wish push to an actual C who can anchor and provide a pocket for Romo.

I believe in miracles. Where you from? You sexy thing.
